Last night was the greatest night of my life.

Not just because I got to see my favorite artist, J. Cole. Not just because, after years of listening to his music, I finally got to meet him. And not just because he took the time to take not one, but two pictures with me.

It was everything that surrounded the moment.

Cole didn’t have to come outside after the show. He didn’t owe anybody anything. But he did. He stayed, showed love, took pictures, and made a lot of people’s nights—including mine.

The best part, though, was experiencing it with my little brother. @the_terrelldavis

We’ve both been listening to J. Cole since we were kids. His music has been the soundtrack through some of the highest highs and lowest lows of our lives. We’ve been through a lot together, and there were times when his music helped us keep going when we needed it most.

Watching my little brother get his own picture with Cole meant more to me than I can put into words.

When Love Yourz Came On We both cried.

Not tears of sadness—tears of gratitude.

Grateful for how far we’ve come.
Grateful for the memories we’ve made.
Grateful that we got to share a moment we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives.

Thank you, J. Cole, for your music, your humility, and for reminding us that the greatest moments aren’t always about fame or success—they’re about the people you get to experience them with.

This past year wasn’t just another lap around the sun. ☀️ It was impact. Literally.

I got into a car accident.
I dealt with a concussion.
I had moments where I couldn’t think clearly, couldn’t move how I wanted to, couldn’t create how I’m used to creating. And for somebody whose whole identity is built around vision, ideas, and motion… that hit different.

But God. 🖤

Somehow in the same year that tried to slow me down, I signed some of the biggest deals of my life. Music. Business. Expansion. I didn’t just survive the storm — I built inside it.

I created Content Playground.
I strengthened my bond with my family. I tightened my circle. I let certain people go. I found out who was real. I found out who clapped quietly. And I found out who prayed for me when I couldn’t even pray for myself.
A few years ago I was “aspiring.”
Aspiring actor. Aspiring artist. Aspiring visionary.

Now?
I’m established. I’m producing.
I’m building my own films and short pieces. I’m creating worlds instead of asking to be cast in them.

That shift didn’t just happen. It cost me comfort. It cost me ego. It cost me sleepless nights. It cost me doubt.

But it gave me clarity.

This year taught me that pressure reveals your real ones. And I’m grateful to say I’m surrounded by true friends now — not just vibes, not just party energy — but people who want to see me win for real. I’m stepping into this next year sharper. Wiser. Hungrier. More focused. I got a lot of big things coming — and when I say big, I mean legacy-big. The kind you build brick by brick when nobody’s watching.
