WOW!!!!! The altars were full of young people praying and asking God to help them grow in discernment after this very helpful message from Philippians 1:9-11 given in chapel today by @paulchappell. What great instruction 1. Discern where you place your affections 2. Prove who or what receives your affections 3. Bear the fruit of your affections taken in West Coast Baptist College by @jsmithey07

Dr. England preached one of the clearest messages in chapel today on the creation mandate from Genesis. This small clip explains why it’s important to understand that God has a purpose in how creates every individual including their gender. This would be a great message for every teenager and young adult to hear! taken in West Coast Baptist College by @jsmithey07

Had a great time catching up with friends the Lord gave us over 10 years ago while we were in Chile. Dave was a huge blessing to us and many other missionaries. Also, first time at the @thecornerla coffee was amazing and the food was so good that we didn’t stop to take a photo, but trust. It was amazing! We will definitely return. by @jsmithey07

Happy Anniversary babe!❤️

28 years of love, laughter, memories, and somehow you still haven’t gotten tired of me! 😂

We may be celebrating our anniversary surrounded by a bunch of teenagers at Joshua Camps instead of on a romantic getaway… but honestly, that pretty much sums up our life together anyway! 😄

I love you more than ever and am so thankful God gave me you. Here’s to more adventures, ministry, and teenage chaos together! ❤️🥰 by @jsmithey07

Yesterday, a dear friend, mentor, and one of the greatest missionary statesmen of our generation, Dr. Don Sisk went home to be with the Lord.
I had known who “Doc” was for nearly 30 years, but it was my privilege to truly know him these last five. Every car ride, meeting, class, and meal seemed to include four conversations: Kentucky basketball, the West Coast Baptist College missions program, his precious wife Virginia, and his longing to see her again—and to see Jesus.
Yesterday, that longing became reality. His faith has become sight.
Though Doc is no longer here to personally challenge young men and women to surrender their lives for world evangelism, I know his testimony will continue to do so for generations to come. His fingerprints are on countless lives around the world, and eternity alone will reveal the full impact of his faithful service.
My prayer is that God will raise up another generation of missionary statesmen with the same burden for the world.
“By faith... he being dead yet speaketh.” — Hebrews 11:4 (KJV)
Thank you, Doc. Heaven is sweeter because you are there, and earth is better because you were here. by @jsmithey07

Missions is at the heart of every major @wcbc. It doesn’t matter if you’re a pastoral major, music major, media major, or any of our other majors, our mission program affords all students to get involved in foreign and home missions while studying at WCBC! But our mission’s students are the best ! 😉🌎🌍🌏 by @jsmithey07
