Bit by bit by bit.
Remnants of digital transference,
Sent, cut, copied, pasted, saved.

I am thinking of the cold linoleum floor
of the hospital room after my latest attempt
at tearing my self apart, bit by bit by bit.
staring at the tessellation on the counterfeit marble I
shed my skin, bared my soul,
to the angel in pink scrubs.

1.577e+7. 6 months almost to the date.
Particles of self, swallowed, hollowed.
Near-Light speed in a vacuum
Gaining energy every pass
Which is efficient for creating high-energy collisions.

What distinction between the bits of self on a screen and the bits of self I left on the linoleum?
Fragmentary versions of something bigger.

Bigger; not better, never better, never bigger

I discard the versions of self. Update now. Update later.
Atonement comes in bits but bits sent arrived unopened.
Once the bit is transmitted, transmutation transpires
And the bit is not the same bit.
