Before loading up for Gridlife Lime Rock last Tuesday I decided to throw our FL5 on the dyno to actually fully retune it for the stock turbo.

I Didn't think there would be much left it it, but I was wrong 🤣. I was able to safely find another 20whp peak, with gains as much as 30 in the midrange. Final power sits at 387 Wheel horsepower and 402 Ft Lbs of Torque.

The car has been big turbo for the last year and a half, but for the past couple of months it was been back on the stock turbo for racing class purposes. For the time being we have just been running the last stock turbo tune that I did on the car in late 2024.

I wish I would have put it back on the Dyno to retune sooner as this would have yielded noticably better lap times!

If youd like a Custom tune for your FK8/DE5/FK8, just give me a shout!

Caught up with old AutoX friends this past weekend. They since transformed a hobby into a lifestyle. Having a plethora of knowledge in racing, parts, modifications, & tuning, it only made sense for them to build @jst_performance. Haven’t seen them in 10+ years, really neat to watch the OG ST in action (despite suspension issues) on Road Atlanta. 🏁

Wow, what a crazy weekend we had at @gridlifeofficial Road Atlanta (peek the rear wheel as we limped back in during Race 3!) Full recap coming soon, but to put it simply...this car is a beast, and we are just getting started!

Only 1 week out until we load up for @gridlifeofficial Round 2 at Road Atlanta. We just finished buttoning up the Alpha FoST with a ton of repairs and some new upgrades! We will be spending the next few days breaking in the new custom diff from @shaftworks_usa, dialing in the suspension changes from @fortuneautousa, and updating the tune to take advantage of new goodies from @gofastbits

We busted a wheel and shredded a tire in race 1 at @gridlifeofficial CMP. But that didn't stop us! A good customer and friend stopped by to offer up a wheel off of his personal ST for us to mount a used tired on. Peek the mismatched wheel and tire setup that managed to get us 17th place finish in race 4! Round 2 at Road Atlanta in less than 2 weeks, we will be shooting for a top 15 or better finish!
