I’m extremely excited to finally announce my commitment to wrestle Division 2 at Felician University. I want to thank all of my coaches, friends, and family for putting me in the best possible position to succeed and always supporting me. I would also like to thank my mom and girlfriend for being on my ass about making this post, probably would’ve forgotten to post this without you guys. I hope I can make everyone proud in this next chapter.

Still processing everything that happened today, but the reality of the situation didn’t hit me until just now. When I chose to push through my injury, I understood that I might not get the results I was hoping for—possibly not making it out of districts and definitely not reaching 100 wins due to the matches I missed when I was first injured. However, I believed that if anyone could do it, it was me, despite many people telling me to give up and not risk making my knee worse than it already was. I’m no stranger to adversity and feel I handle it well for the most part, but coming this far only to fall just short and constantly thinking, what if, has to be the most frustrating feeling of all. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who comforted me at the tournament and expressed their kind words at districts. It has truly meant the world to me to see how many people care about me. I really hoped my career would end where it started, but I believe everything happens for a reason—so I guess that helps a little.
I want to thank @filipetrained when I came back to you at the beginning of my sophomore year, I was literally terrible. Looking back at some of my old matches before I started training with you, it blows my mind how much I improved in such a short time, and I can only think about the type of wrestler I’d be if I had been more consistent. Training with you not only helped my confidence on the mat but also in my personal life, and I honestly can’t thank you enough for that. Love you, Unc. by @jstnfearon
