BALANCE
.
a condition in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions
•
Going to college was a huge wake up call for me because I lived a very unbalanced lifestyle (I thought it was VERY balanced in the moment though)
•
I would not hold myself accountable for my actions, constantly binge drinking, and just going through the motions when working out
•
It takes a lot of trial and error in order to find YOUR balance
•
I always thought there was this mold people followed who had balanced lifestyles, but I had to figure it out for myself
•
Being a junior in college, I still don’t have it all figured out sometimes, and that’s okay!
•
Personally, going to class, meal prepping, and having a structured workout everyday are ways I try and keep myself balanced
•
What are some ways you guys keep yourself balanced? by @jstone.fit

Why
•
Why I work as hard as I do in every aspect of my life
•
Why I have the work ethic I do
•
Why I am constantly trying to better myself
•
Leaning from example is something that I used to take for granted
•
I’m the way I am today because of this woman and her (insane) work ethic, dedication, and morals
•
I strive to be 1% of the woman she is and I hope that you all find your WHY in your journey one why or another šŸ¤ by @jstone.fit

Admitting your failures
•
This is something that I have always struggled with… especially right now.
•
I woke up feeling very defeated and I knew I wasn’t executing to my highest potential.
•
Although I have been been doing all of the tasks for Phase 1, I personally think I could be giving more.
•
That being said I’ve made the decision to restart Phase 1 starting today.
•
I owe it to myself to want more out of my performance and the way I choose to execute each task.
•
Hope you all have a great day! Don’t let your bitch voice take over! by @jstone.fit

This is a very vulnerable post for me.
This was my experience of 75 Hard:

Something switched inside of me during these 75 days & it’s something that I have never experienced before

Which is having the ability to walk into every single room like I’m the baddest bitch there

Throughout the 75 days I learned to take less bull crap excuses from myself by putting myself first. I was able to see how little the opinions of others mattered

My self-esteem sky rocketed as the 75 days went on, this was something that not only I could see but people around me could see too

Throughout my battle with anxiety & depression I’ve struggled with self-esteem… I can definitely say this is the best I’ve felt in a very long time both mentally & physically

I underestimated my self-worth & the worth I deserved to receive from others

NOW I hold myself to the highest standards & I refuse to accept anything less than that from those around me

After my first failed ā€œattemptā€ at 75 hard back in November. I didn’t think I would ever be able to complete it in its full entirety

I say ā€œattemptā€ because I didn’t do all of the criteria, and it showed… BIG TIME

I was that girl waking up at the ass crack of dawn to get a workout in before my day started in order to accomplish all my daily tasks

The top is a lonely place & throughout this journey I realized how many people don’t work towards being the best version of themselves & how content they are with mediocrity

This only made me push myself harder every single day & I was able to see how different my mindset was from those of my peers

Being mediocre was NEVER an option & it never will be, point blank period

If I had a dollar for every time someone called me ā€œcrazyā€ for doing an early morning/late night workout or for weighing out all of my meals… I’d be rich

I was so determined to push myself to my absolute limits & even if that meant being an outcast in the group

Before I would’ve let the options of those around me affect me & I wouldn’t have made it to day 75, but I’m more mentally tough than I was before

I know I can push myself even further & that is what I strive to do in Phase 1! by @jstone.fit

Going out while on 75 hard
•
I used to be that girl who couldn’t go out on the weekend without being blackout drunk
•
Over the weekend I told my roommates that I wanted to go out with them and see how mentally strong I have become.
•
I’ve never been more proud of myself in the way I handled social interactions
•
I was able to hold conversations with countless people (and remember them the next day) as well as, being totally invested in each conversation
•
I don’t think I could have done this without doing 75 hard because I had negative amounts of mental toughness beforehand
•
This was a huge accomplishment for me because I have social anxiety and it makes it tough for me to be in crowded places
•
You don’t have to give up your social life for 75 hard… you should go out and be with your friends… challenge yourself to be better than you were yesterday
•
I also want to thank my roommates for being so incredibly supportive throughout this journey while at school :) by @jstone.fit

CONFIDENCE
•
This is something that I have struggled with for a long period of time.

Lacking confidence has lead me to doubting myself and my abilities, and in return selling myself short.

Often times I would think to myself ā€œI can’t do that… I don’t have the ability to complete that task.ā€

This time around doing 75 HARD, even though I’m only on day 31, I have noticed that the insane amount of confidence that I have gained in myself and my abilities.

Before 75 HARD I would change 1,000 times before going to the gym or even out to run errands.

For example, the shorts I’m wearing in this picture would be one of the articles of clothing that I would change out of. I would not be caught DEAD wearing a sports bra of all thing with them.

I put this outfit on for my walk today and I looked in the mirror and loved the person I saw in the mirror. Not only the physical progress that I’ve made but the mental strides that I have made as well!

This is your reminder to go after the goals that scare the shit out of you and don’t let off the gas until you have achieved them.

Even though I’m not where I want to be right now I know that this is the path I need to stay on in order to reach the goals I have set for myself! by @jstone.fit

Trusting the process

It’s not about where you are currently it’s about where you’re headed.

Personally, this is something that I have always struggled with whether it was mentally, physically, socially or spiritually. For the longest time I was looking for a quick fix in all of those areas of my life, and I would get extremely frustrated and defeated when I wasn’t getting the results I wanted.

As I get older and mature i have been able to see that things take time and that I need to keep putting in the work day in and day out in order to crush the goals I set for myself.

After visiting the 1st Phorm HQ this past week, ā€œtrusting the processā€ has a totally different meaning to me. When Andy was speaking to us he said that he wanted to quit about 10 years in to the business because he wasn’t where he wanted to be in that very moment. If he did quit he would not have created the empire he has today.

This really lit a fire under my ass to reevaluate the goals I set for myself. The goals that you set for yourself should scare you and intimidate you in a good way.

I’m super excited to get started with my reevaluated goals by holding myself accountable day in and day out in every aspect of my life. taken in 1st Phorm HQ by @jstone.fit
