On Deck Academy is proud to announce the commitment of Joseph Swift (2027 On Deck O’s/Charlotte Catholic) to Pfeiffer University! Joseph loves to work at the game. He is a talented athlete with a beautiful left-handed swing. He understands how to get on base and put pressure on an opposing defense with consistent quality at bats and good speed. He also has power and the ability to be a productive run producer. Joseph is a smooth defender that tracks the ball well in the outfield. Joseph is a pleasure to coach and a wonderful teammate. Congratulations to Coach Bolton, Coach Lackey, and the Pfeiffer University staff on landing a special student-athlete for this recruiting class!

We would also like to congratulate Joseph and his parents, Laura and Drew, on this wonderful achievement. On Deck Academy appreciates the efforts of Coach Hull and the Charlotte Catholic coaching staff during Joseph’s development and recruiting process. We look forward to following Joseph’s continued success at the next level with the Falcons! taken in Pfeiffer University by @jswift.2027

Joseph Swift (‘27, Uncommitted)

Charlotte Catholic High School / On Deck O’s

Swift is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound outfielder with a well-rounded skill set and plenty of athletic upside. Hitting from the left side, he showcases quick hands and a compact swing that allows him to consistently find the barrel while still producing power.

Defensively, Swift throws right-handed and has the athleticism to cover ground in the outfield. His speed is a notable asset, as he posted a 6.8-second 60-yard dash this winter.
