Snapshots of Summer 2026 😎✌️ by @jthogue2

Euro summer maxxing with the best crew ✌️🇫🇷🇮🇹 by @jthogue2

2025 was a year for the books.

A year of surprise success and frustrating failure. A year of joyful reunions and mournful goodbyes. A year of climbing mountains and sailing seas. A year of dreams fulfilled and goals diverted. A year of bold risks and unexpected challenge. A year of God’s goodness, even in the face of struggle.

Grateful for the constant gift of friendship and family through all the highs and lows. And grateful for the gift of Grace that carries us all into a fresh new year, filled with opportunity.

Here’s to 2026! 🥂 by @jthogue2

One of those good nights. Happy Opening @qovmusical

Moved to NYC 10 years ago today.

Hard to believe I’ve called this place home for a decade now. I feel like I’ve lived a hundred different lifetimes here. Through survival jobs, late nights, writing workshops, grad studies, Broadway openings, it’s incredible how this city can continue to surprise and delight ten years later - even after I think I’ve seen everything.

My close friends and family can tell you - I talk about leaving this city all the time. It’s not easy living here. It’s dirty, loud, exhausting, stressful, soul-sucking… this suburban kid never yearned for city life. After the initial excitement of moving here wore off, it took me years of working multiple survival jobs before I got my in with the industry I long pursued. So what has kept me coming back despite it all?

The people. I’ve come to know the most beautiful, incredible, resilient, passionate, hilarious, and generous people on the planet. People with brilliant minds and boundless imaginations who come from every corner of the planet, determined to press through all the challenges because they believe in the possibilities that this community represents.

The city is magical, sure. The architecture, the parks, the events, the nightlife, the food… I really won’t ever get sick of all those perks (what I call on my bills “the resort fee”). But at the end of the day, it’s just an island of concrete without the amazing people who bring it to life.

Ten years later, I couldn’t be more grateful that I stuck it out. I couldn’t be happier that I pushed through the early years of hopelessness and fatigue. I couldn’t be more grateful to have answered that calling to return back to the city time and time again, even when I would’ve far rather fled to a beach house in Florida. The version of me that moved here ten years ago could never have dreamed of the life I’d have here ten years later.

Thanks for a great decade, NYC. I guess I’ll give you a few more months to impress me. ❤️ by @jthogue2

Happy Closing Night to our @thetanknyc run of @golemmusical, one of the most joyous and beautiful theatrical experiences of my life.

From the moment I first encountered this script by @garrettpoladian and @ethancrystal1, I knew I had discovered something special. At the time, I wasn’t even looking for a new project with Stranger Sings entering its final weeks off-Broadway, but I very quickly realized this was something brilliant on the verge of blowing up that I had to jump onto immediately.

Creating this very silly show with the dream team Garrett, Ethan and @patrickswailescaldwell has filled me so much life and reminded me why I love what I do. Scrappy musicals with heart are what brought me into the theatre, and it’s an incredible gift to find one as magical as this led by a talented company devoted to collaboration and community.

I believe so deeply in the power of comedy, one of the most powerful vessels of delivering truth and unlocking healing in the lives of audiences and artists alike. Radical joy is exactly what is needed in times like these; I’m grateful that this incredibly stupid show about a puppet named Golem has already been a healing balm for so many.

More to come from this show. This is only the beginning. 😎🌴☀️

First performance tonight of @golemmusical at @thetanknyc!

Feeling incredibly proud and lucky to be part of a show as brilliant and special as this one. Still in awe every day by the sheer comedic genius of @garrettpoladian and @ethancrystal1 for creating this kooky universe and this hilarious cast and crew that fills it with such warmth and life. Also, always a sweet gift collaborating with the great @patrickswailescaldwell.

Don’t miss us at The Tank, running 16 performances only through November 10! Ticket link in bio.

“The Queen of Versailles” is now open @emersoncolonial in Boston! Such a joy getting to celebrate the @qovmusical Opening Night last week. Beyond proud to be a Co-Producer of this wickedly funny and deliciously thrilling new modern musical crafted by my theatrical idols @wickedschwartz @michaelarden. @kchenoweth is giving the kind of tour-de-force performance that will be talked about for ages. Catch us in Boston until Aug 25… then Broadway in 2025! 👑

What a night. #tonyawards2024 by @jthogue2

Grateful to be celebrating the end of my first year as a member of the Broadway community. A dream to have had a hand in producing two Broadway productions and supporting the management of countless more. This work is HARD, but so incredibly worth it.

Rooting for ILLINOISE, AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, APPROPRIATE, CABARET AT THE KIT KAT CLUB, and SUFFS tonight at the Tony Awards!
