Breathing underwater is still weird, but my first post scuba cert dive was pretty amazing. We saw a bunch of sea turtles and a panda slug!

26.2 miles later and we are marathon finishers!!!

Life Part Duex.

I just completed a few sessions of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for my own healing, and it’s been pretty life changing.

I’ve been a big proponent of strengthening/changing one’s mind. I think that mindset goes a long way. Not only that, but that we are able to shift and change our mindset if we really want to and believe that we can, which we definitely can.

This therapy has helped me with just that. It has really helped me shift my mindset and specifically my mindset and reactions to certain things that used to set me off.

I very much value and see the beauty in life. Beauty and pain do seem to sometimes go hand in hand. I embrace my pain. I cry when I want to cry and I laugh when I want to laugh. Sometimes it’s at the same time. Sometimes seeing myself cry makes me laugh. 😂 Sometimes seeing myself laugh makes me cry. 😭

I guess what I’m trying to say is, we’re all doing our damn best in life. It ebbs and flows. Let’s live life with compassion, empathy, love, light, gratitude, and acceptance. For others, but also very much for ourselves.
