AMAZING Italian Pre-Transformers Era Press Ads Circa 1983 to 1984. It is extremely rare to find a collector that owns ALL of these (Roughly A5 sized) ads, as they released across some nearly 800 issues. I own these 7, a fantastic glimpse into the past. Originally 'GIG' owned the rights to release both 'Diaclone' and 'Micro Change Toys' in Italy. As we all know Hasbro would later purchase these toy lines to release under the 'Transformers' Trademark. This forced 'GIG' into adding a 'Trasformer' title to their still Diaclone and retro styled boxes. Until some time later when they would officially recieve the rights to use 'Transformers.' . . . #diaclone #microchange #hasbro #gig #takaratomy #transformers #transformerstoys #transformersg1 #1983 #1984 #italianpress #toyphotography #toycollecting #toycollectors #toyaddicts #toyadvertisements #collection #collecting #retrotoys #retro #trasformer #toyhistory by @jtv_collecting

Best of LEGO's 1997 Catalogue (German/Square/Large Size.) PEAK. This is an era where LEGO wasn't afraid to throw out their own themes and IPs; experimenting just to see what would stick. Sadly we live in a climate where uncertainty spells financial doom, so I don't blame LEGO for playing it safe in current times; I just think a bit of the 1990s creative spark is clearly missing... . . . #lego #afolcommunity #legophotography #vintagelego #legocollector by @jtv_collecting
Farewell Unicorn Gundam: Deconstruction of the Life Size Unicorn Gundam is almost complete, the big fella was erected in September of 2017 and stood for 8 years and 11 months. Sadly it would not make it a full 10 years, Odaiba will sorely miss you... First 2 photos taken from my visit in 2023. . . . #gundam #odaiba #unicorngundam #lifesizegundam #tokyo by @jtv_collecting

Obligatory dodgy hotel room shoot of my little Toyploshion haul. I would definitely call this a small but MIGHTY haul... I'm not sure if I've ever seen so much collectible variety in one place before? From the weird and obscure, to the down right rare and magical. Somehow I didn't sploodge on any of the larger items, but what I did get was crazy! - Hiya Toys Alien 3 'Dog Xenomorph' - Super7 Classic J-tail + Minus One Godzilla's - 2005 Bullmark Mini Reissue Ultraman - Star Wars Black Series TCW Kenobi (missed him in the initial run) - 1979 Boxed LEGO Space 6827 (Blue Astronaut) - 1980's GIG Lectrobot Mini Pistola - Transformers Spanish K/O Beachcomber - 1993 Kenner Jurrasic Park Dimetrodon - AND YES, I was one of the extremely lucky 1/100 to acquire a SDCC Jurassic Park 3 Velociraptor. Yesterday I spoke to sellers from Belgium, Argentina, Italy, UK and more; so a huge thank you to all of the sellers that came and to those I had a cheeky chat with! Video coming soon 😉 . . . #Toyploshion #toycollecting #toyphotography #vintagetoys #raretoys by @jtv_collecting

1992 Bullmark Anguirus Reissue Tee (Vintage) I made a tshirt! Here are the design templates used alongside a small historical summary; it basically took Bullmark nearly 20 years to give fans a Brown Anguirus. This was my first attempt at making a Tee and sadly it's not a real promotional item, let me explain... I would love to wear clothing featuring Vintage advertisements of toy companies that have become 'beloved' such as Lego and Bullmark. Sadly the clothing I dream of simply doesn't exist... for the most part. Obviously the bread and butter of toy production companies is toys; this makes toy related clothing items unusual commodities. Don't get me wrong, Vintage clothing pieces are out there, but they will cost you a bag to obtain them 💰 Hence, this tshirt. I've never seen Bullmark clothing in auction older than the year 2001, and I doubt I would ever stumble across somthing in the wild, in my lifetime... This tshirt is 100% fan made, I do not own the right to use the Bullmark Name or Logo, the Toho Character Anguirus or the photography of the Anguirus Sofvi. I am not selling this item or profiting from it's production in any way. . . . #bullmark #sofubi #marusan #anguirus #godzilla by @jtv_collecting
A HUGE Thank You to @minifigmilitia1 as a winner of their giveaway some time ago. I chose a traditional Phase 1 Trooper from the 501st; naturally I purchased a Clone Commander Stone alongside him and these little fellas have come a long way! 🇺🇸➡️🇩🇪 There's truly a lot of talent behind these custom minifigures, bravo! . . . #starwars #custom #customized #starwarsfan #toycollecting by @jtv_collecting
EXTENDED Pre-Transformers Ads: More documentation of a time before Transformers! No I do not own these advertisements, nor do own the right to use them. I'm simply incredibly interested in this point in history, and wish to build a small archive as a reference point for myself. Enjoy! . . . #transformers #transformersg1 #diaclone #microman #microchange by @jtv_collecting
Missing Link Packaging Appreciation: I'm still on the fence about purchasing Grimlock, but I can't wait for Soundwave to join the gang early next year; although I can't help but notice that some are definitely missing from the overall line-up. I might just be a transformers fan living vicariously through repaints? What some might see as niche, I see as missed opportunity. I guess let me know in the comments if anyone else deeply cares about these unproduced and 'Missing' figures... . . . #takaratomy #transformers #transformersg1 #optimusprime #missinglink by @jtv_collecting
