A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing, Dr. Sizemore brings diverse clinical experience in pediatric primary care, emergency nursing, and clinical education to her teaching and mentorship of nursing students.

Dr. Sizemore is passionate about culturally responsive care and preparing future nurses to serve diverse patient populations. Her international healthcare experiences in Honduras and Nicaragua have included direct patient care, supporting medical education, and helping facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients and families.

Her dedication to nursing education and leadership has been recognized through the Jacksonville University Graduate Student of the Year Award and the Francis Bartlett Kinne Director’s Award for Excellence.

We are excited to welcome Lydia Seagle, BSN, RN, to the Keigwin School of Nursing as our Academic Advisor for Entry-Level (Undergraduate) Nursing!

A Jacksonville native and graduate of the University of North Florida’s undergraduate nursing program, Lydia began her nursing career in New York, completing a nurse residency in the emergency department at Mount Sinai before transitioning to community-based care as a registered nurse and case manager.

Through her work on a Manhattan ACT Team, Lydia provided comprehensive support to individuals living with severe mental illness, helping clients navigate care, connect with resources, manage medications, and work toward their personal goals and independence.

Now back in her hometown, Lydia is excited to bring her nursing experience to JU and support the next generation of nurses through mentorship, guidance, and encouragement.

With more than 30 years of nursing experience, Dr. Klingler brings extensive expertise in pediatrics, neonatal intensive care (NICU), and nursing leadership to the Keigwin School of Nursing.

Dr. Klingler earned her Nursing Diploma from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, followed by a BSN from St. Joseph’s College, an MSN with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialization from IUPUI, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University.

She is passionate about providing high-quality pediatric care, advancing evidence-based practice, and mentoring the next generation of nursing professionals. We are excited to welcome her expertise and experience to KSON! 💚

As Simulation Week comes to a close, we’re celebrating the impact of hands-on simulation experiences in preparing our students for real-world nursing practice. 💚

At Jacksonville University’s Keigwin School of Nursing, simulation gives students the opportunity to apply course content, strengthen clinical skills, communicate with patients, think critically, and build confidence in a safe learning environment — before entering the clinical setting.

💚 **Faculty Highlight: Cada White, DNP, BS, RN**

Meet Cada White, DNP, BS, RN, our Department Chair of Simulation & Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing!

Cada has a special connection to Jacksonville University, not only as a faculty member, but also as a proud JU alumna. After earning her BS in Finance from Butler University and her BSN from UNF, Cada went on to earn both her MSN and DNP from Jacksonville University. Her own journey at JU has been an important part of her professional growth and continues to shape the way she supports and engages with our students.

Outside of KSON, Cada enjoys running, swimming, biking, hiking, spending time outdoors, playing guitar, and spending time with her kiddo. And a fun fact about Cada? **She’s currently learning to play the guitar!** 🎸

She and her husband, Jonathan, have been married for 11 years and share their home with Nutella, their dog, and Oreo, their cat. 🐶🐱

We’re grateful to have Cada’s expertise, passion, and dedication as part of the KSON community! 💚
