Accountants are Spartans!

Last week we had tax returns to prepare for the extension deadline, face to face tax strategy meetings, bookkeeping and other consultations. It’s takes HARD WORK but I love it!

When I’m losing my voice, in the office late everyday, tired, drained and working with clients from our behavioral health business I never complain. It’s a blessing to feel all of that because it’s what I asked God for. It’s like being on the front line in battle.

I didn’t see this coming and I can’t say that I’m super optimistic, but I guess we’ll see what happens!

Not paying your payroll taxes and filing the requisite forms is a guaranteed audit. The IRS is very serious about payroll taxes because of something called trust taxes. Trust taxes are FICA (Social Security and Medicare). States are very serious about payroll taxes as well because of unemployment taxes.

If you open a payroll account and don’t report wages, pay the taxes, or file the necessary forms get ready because not only will they audit you, but the penalties are insane! by @juanftax
