POSTS STORIES REELS

January 19, 2025

Exactly one year ago today, I was led by the Holy Spirit to make a decision that changed everything — to publicly declare that Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Lord, and to be baptized in His name.

Before I knew Christ, I was lost. I lived for myself — my own glory, my own pleasures — actively rebelling against Him. In my sin, I hurt people close to me and even hurt myself. I said things that wounded others. I manipulated, lied, stole, tempted, and searched endlessly for my “true self,” all while ignoring the One who created me. And it showed. I lived that way for 24 years.

Then one day, Christ encountered me through a friend over brunch at a coffee shop. In that moment, I realized how little I truly knew about who Jesus is, what He did for me, the weight of His sacrifice, and how clearly my life reflected how far I was from Him. And yet — despite constantly hurting Him, sometimes even intentionally — Jesus still met me there. He made one thing unmistakably clear: He loves me.

And the way He loves me is the same way He loves you — actively, intentionally, and relentlessly. I just had to stop ignoring the love that had been pursuing me all along.

Before this, when people told me “Jesus loves you,” it meant nothing. I’d think, I have friends who love me — so what? God was on my list of things I loved, but He was never a priority. I was blind. I was ignorant. I was closed-minded.

On January 19, 2025, I learned the true weight of the words “Jesus loves you.” That day marked the beginning of my walk with Christ — praying, “Lord, guide me to be more like Your Son, Jesus.” Praying the prayer of sanctification.

This past year, the Lord has led me to grow in ways I never imagined. I moved to Boise. We started a Bible study. I preached my first sermon. I’ve had the privilege of baptizing my friends. And He continues to work in my life. He healed parts of me I never thought could be healed — and He can and will do the same for you. Jesus is living, and trust me when I tell you. He loves you. So much that He gave His life for you.

Thank You, Jesus for loving me.

I love You, Lord 🫶🏽 by @juanna_dance

Sometimes the Lord puts someone in your life you’re just meant to grow with, to love, to cherish, to do life alongside. I’m so thankful we get to be that for each other.

It hasn’t exactly been a secret, but here’s our official hard launch :) Here’s to more laughs, more dances, more dates, and maaaany more goochie goo posts like this one. But most importantly… here’s to pursuing Jesus alongside each other.

Huge thank you to @austintylerartistry with @bootslidemedia for capturing these videos this past weekend. Your work is honestly some of the best I’ve ever seen, and you captured us in our element and in our best moments so well. We’re grateful for you.

Thank you also to all of our friends and family who have showed up for us in prayer, accountability, hard conversations, guidance and so much more! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us 💙

Absolutely had to post this prelims dance from my strictly with @juanna_dance ! I have been dying to get this song in comp for over a year now (thank you so so much @ndmccall3 🙏🏽)

Getting to do it with someone as musical and supportive as Juan made this dance a dream.🥰
He also has an insane ability to bring out my musicality in a way that makes me want to watch our dances again and again.

I know you’ve already heard it a bunch of times but thank you so much for believing in my dance and trusting me enough to be your partner in this comp before I even had that belief in myself. 🫶🏽❤️

Also thank you @skylarrpaigeee for being an amazing and supportive coach.❤️❤️❤️

This dance was a breath of fresh air

From my last novice proam at @bootsonthecoast in may to my first ever upper level strictly at @jamieleedancefest in October, @juanna_dance has been such a treasure to dance with. He is such a kind, creative and truly inspiring individual. Through our dances I have been able to see the potential in myself to do more in dance and be more confident. Thank you for all of our dances Juan, they mean more to me than you’ll ever know. by @juanna_dance

We tricked the entire crowd AND the judging panel 🤣

I love this Country Swing spotlight dance with @dancinwithanna from @jamieleedancefest !!! Funny story… I originally was not supposed to be competing in this contest, but about an hour before it started Anna came up to me and asked me to be her partner because her partner couldn’t make it!

Thank you so much for asking me! It’s always so fun dancing with somebody who’s down to create some cool moments, no matter how unorthodox the ideas may be 🤩

If you thought this looked fun, wait until you’re actually dancing it yourself. I want to invite you to learn Country Swing on my online platform MyCountrySwing.com! This isn’t just a course — it’s a community of 60+ dancers growing together in Modern Country Swing. If you’ve been on the fence about learning, this is your sign. You’ll get technique breakdowns, an application library, and direct access to me for any Country Swing questions you’ve got. Come be part of it. MyCountrySwing.com or the link in my bio.
