Excited to officially become a Background Member with @ubcp_actra 🎬

The next milestone is becoming a full union performer for principal roles. I need three principal acting credits, and I’m happy to say I already landed my first principal role a couple of weeks ago in my first vertical filmed in Vancouver.

One down, two to go. Wish me luck!

Thanks to my best partner in crime, @vitmgmt , for believing in me and being part of this journey. by @juannbeyond

Since last year, I started doing background acting in movies. It has allowed me to keep running my company while gaining more acting experience. Earlier this year, I was accepted by a talent agency that focuses on principal and lead actors, and I’ve been doing auditions ever since.

I’m happy to share this with you. Hopefully, I’ll land a speaking role soon! by @juannbeyond

I bought this Mexican sombrero without knowing that it would open the doors to many new professional projects. It became part of my cooking show, Cooking Time, of course, but it also led to opportunities as a background actor, playing a cowboy and a ranch hand in a couple of different movies that I can’t wait for everyone to watch. by @juannbeyond

Working as a background actor, we help create the atmosphere, realism, storytelling, and production value that bring a scene to life. We may not always be the focus of the camera, but every character in the background helps build the world around the story.

And who knows? Maybe one day, we’ll be the focus of the story and become one of the primary characters in our own story.

I recently worked as a police background actor in She Stole My Son’s Heart, a mystery thriller starring Marisol Nichols and Megan Peta Hill, directed by Caitlyn Sponheimer.

Thank you to the background casting director, production team, and film crew for allowing me to be a small part of this production. by @juannbeyond

For all the drama directors out there… there’s a ranchero story waiting to be filmed. Just saying… your lead actor is ready. 🤠😏🎬 by @juannbeyond

I’m very grateful, fulfilled, and at peace with the version of myself I am today. I’m grateful for everything that I am, and everything that I’m no longer.

There is a fire inside me, full of excitement for what I’m living right now. But there is also a force of gravity that reminds me that everything comes at the right time.

I’m taking the time to do the things I had been putting aside. But that doesn’t mean I wasn’t improving in other skills that would support those things. It means I was becoming a more sensitive and aware human being. by @juannbeyond

I’ve been making a conscious effort to be brave enough to reach out and connect with people whose dreams, lifestyle, and worldview resonate with mine.

Last year, @yoga.samantha , a Lululemon Ambassador in Canada, entrepreneur, and the founder of @loveelevate , trusted me with content creation and on-camera interviews at one of her events. That opportunity opened the door to even more exciting projects and amazing connections.

It’s a reminder that sometimes all it takes is believing in yourself and putting yourself out there. Prioritize becoming the person you want to be, and the right opportunities and the right people will start finding you.

I’m grateful to be building a career as a 360° content creator in the entertainment industry, doing what I love.

Thank you, Sam, for believing in me. by @juannbeyond
