In case anyone was wondering what we have been up to…

Since we have owned Calculated Punkture Tattoo Studio we have had the vision to move our business to downtown. We knew it was prohibited in the downtown area and were told it would be an uphill battle. We have pushed the topic with any council member and mayor we have had the pleasure of meeting over the years and always got a positive response. Now is the time we try to move our vision into fruition. At the end of the day we feel it is important to show the community the actual families that are behind most of these businesses. While we cannot vouch for other tattoo shops in the area all we can do is make it clear what our small family owned business has strived to create at Calculated Punkture Tattoo over the years, With not just a husband and wife but with our two young children who are very proud participants in our business on the daily which most people who have visited our establishment have seen. We are not wanting to impede on the businesses that are already in the Downtown Brentwood area, we only look to add to the Economic growth and diversity of Downtown Brentwood .

We hope the community that one of the owners have grown up in since childhood, and the other for almost 20 years can come together and support the vision we have dreamt of.

Sincerely,
Owners of Calculated Punkture Tattoo

So many of you have asked for new Golden Heart shirts and they are FINALLY on their way. Since it took us so long we’ve added a new Limited edition Halloween tee to the lineup. New designs courtesy of @juareztattoos . Keep your eye out for updates on when they officially land in shop but it should be any day now🖤🕸️

Today marks one year since we opened Golden Heart Gallery. Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much has happened in such a short time.

Having Golden Heart Tattoo Gallery on hold hasn’t been easy. It’s been one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but we still believe this journey is worth it, and we’re committed to seeing it through. None of this has changed the vision we started with it has only made us appreciate every step even more.

We are forever grateful to everyone who has supported us, believed in us, and helped make Golden Heart Gallery what it is today. This first year has meant more than we can put into words.

Year One down, many more to go🖤 taken in Brentwood, California by @juareztattoos

After 14 months , the amendment that would allow tattoo studios in downtown Brentwood is finally back on the Brentwood City Council agenda this upcoming Tuesday July 28th for the first of two readings.

If you support this amendment, your voice can make a difference. We would greatly appreciate you attending the meeting or sharing your opinion with the City Council. There are a few ways to do so, you can write in an email, zoom in during the meeting for a public comment, or come in person.

Emails can be sent to: cityclerk@brentwoodca.gov

Anything is welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you all for your support! by @juareztattoos

When they ask you for whatever you want, make it ocean themed and I don’t want to see it until after the stencil is on! I had a lot of fun with this one! #nautilus #shark #colortattoo #girlheadtattoo by @juareztattoos
