POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My last project now documented once again in English - June 2024: I had the honor of painting a representative graffiti for the regional museum "Begas Haus" in the center of the city of Heinsberg. A few meters from the market square, I created a black and white interpretation of the painting "The Apotheosis of Fanny Elßler" - a painting that can also be admired as an original here in Heinsberg.

It took me 60 hours of work just to put it on the wall, and that doesn't even include the preparatory work by the painting company and my work on the computer. (Thanks at this point also to @creatives_claudiaregen, who prepared the wall for me).

Du to the high effort, such fantastic projects would be unthinkable without public and business sponsors. Once again, many thanks to everyone involved for making this project possible.

Napoleon Bonaparte. A commissioned graffiti work by the city of Heinsberg (May 2023): My idea was to remind the viewer of the painting to the so-called "french period" in our area, a time that opened the real FIRST door to democracy in Germany.

On Saturday, June 27, we held a laid-back SprayDay in the beautiful Lower Rhine region – in Erkelenz near Heinsberg –with 20 graffiti dudes and ladies from across the region. Writers and street artists from Erkelenz, Heinsberg, Aachen, Düren, Düsseldorf, Bonn, and the Netherlands transformed the train station underpass in Erkelenz into an underwater landscape to give this seedy corner of the train station a friendly and positive look.

The project was funded by the city of Erkelenz @erkelenz.stadt and planned and organized by me, @judasone79

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved. It was a great weekend, even though the temperatures were historically high. 🥵🥵🥵 by @judasone79
