People always ask who taught me how to sew and they’re always surprised by my answer. The truth is during lockdown last year I started sewing clothes by hand. First it was just revamping clothes I didn’t like by cutting them up, then I went on to make a mesh pants, tube top and other odds and ends. My first big project was a black bikini that I hand sewed for my friend’s birthday lime and that’s when my parents and friends started telling me that they believed I had great talent for it. After that my neighbor messaged me to make a bandana bikini top for her and my FIRST CUSTOMER item was HAND SEWN.😌 About a few weeks later I got my machine, created my business page @jays.magictouch and started sales in February. Since then my God given talent and YouTube has been helping me in my business. I’ve always had a passion and a love for designing & creating, but never in a million years would I have thought that I could JUST DO IT but I’m so glad I did.🥳
STOP making EXCUSES for whatever it is you want to do. Take a class, use YouTube, ask Siri, just make sure and pursue it!🏃🏽‍♀️Even if there are other people doing it already, remember that they’re not you and you could have something special to bring to the table. You may not be perfect at first, I know I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning but be persistent and you’ll get there ;)
ALWAYS APPLY PRESSURE & JUST DO IT BOSS BABE!💓
