POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Let’s go, autumn. 🍂

You’ll find me in my home studio this season, recording two novels for the US market and 15 German children’s books.

Quite a lot of talking. And quite a lot of tea, presumably.

Only two weeks left of BELLO!

After 3 months and nearly 90 shows this funny, poetic, heartwarming show has become very dear to my heart.

Come catch us before we say goodbye! We perform every night except Monday until May 31st.

Dazwischen: Texte, Dialoge, Monologe.
Komisch, herzzerreißend und manchmal überraschend ruhig.

Moderner Zirkus trifft auf Erzähltheater.
Und irgendwo dazwischen ich.

Wenn ihr Lust habt, kommt vorbei. Noch bis zum 31. Mai im @chamtheater

More BELLO! rehearsal snaps.
Simple, yet profound and funny human stories colliding with physical theatre, circus and amazing acrobatics. That sums up this show for me. Such a joy for my acting instrument and my movement background. Best of both worlds.

We run every day until May 31st at @chamtheater (except Mondays).

Some rehearsal snaps from BELLO!

For the record: I am not gonna be doing any saltos or flying through the air. I’m the actress in the room, watching in awe while six extraordinary acrobats do things that seem to defy physics.

It’s my first show of this kind and I couldn’t have wished for a warmer welcome from this beautiful group. Thank you for letting me explore, play and find my place in it.

And also a BIG THANK YOU to @chamtheater for creating such a supportive working environment.

Rehearsal moments from BELLO! by @fabbricac at @chamtheater.

Connecting storytelling with flowing, acrobatic choreographies, BELLO! brings together six acrobats and one fish out of water actress (that would be me) in a poetic and sometimes raucous examination of not just how we find the beauty within us but how we let it out.

We’re currently in our second week of previews, with premiere next week.

Shows run until May 31st (every day except Mondays).
Tickets via link in bio.

DIE FLEDERMAUS @deutscheoperberlin: A comedy of (very planned) mistakes that also doubles as a time machine: from 19th-century Vienna to a 1960s Berlin party basement, and then straight into the future - where the prison may or may not be a spaceship. Add a dash of Blade Runner, a bit of ‘Also Sprach Zarathustra’ (the other Strauss), and you get… well, Fledermaus at Deutsche Oper. An absolute joy. See you soon! taken in Deutsche Oper Berlin by @judith__shoemaker

This video was filmed during a break in my dressing room.
I fully intended to post it, but forgot.
You’re welcome.
