This is probably the most vulnerable post I’ve ever made.

I honestly don’t know how much longer I can keep pushing like this. Trying to build a career as a remote worker while constantly battling power supply has become exhausting.

I’ve tried to stay strong, improvise and keep going, but right now, I need help. This is me putting my pride aside and saying: I need an SOS.

I NEED HELP PLEASE 🙏🏽

Happy New Month, Family!

Welcome to June, a fresh chapter, a new opportunity, and another chance to become better than we were yesterday.

I pray this month brings good news, open doors, divine favor, and unexpected blessings. May our efforts be rewarded, our dreams move closer to reality, and our hearts be filled with peace and gratitude.

No matter how the previous month went, June is a reminder that every new month is a fresh start. Keep believing, keep pushing, and keep trusting the process.

May this month be kind to us all. ❤️

Happy New Month!
What are you grateful for as we begin June?

Dear EEDC Enugu Electricity Distribution Company- EEDC Friends ENUGU ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY (EEDC). @enugu_disco

I write this message as a humble appeal from a deeply frustrated resident and young professional trying to build a future through remote work.

It has been over two months since my area, Campus 4 monarch, Enugu state has had electricity due to the removal of our transformer after it developed faults. Since then, life and work have become extremely difficult for many residents, including myself.

As a young lady who has spent time and resources acquiring different trainings to begin a career in remote work, this prolonged power outage has affected me tremendously. I have lost opportunities for jobs and internships simply because I cannot guarantee stable electricity to power my devices and work tools. Unfortunately, I have also not earned enough to afford alternative power solutions such as solar energy.

What makes this situation even more painful is that I paid ₦25,000 for my router monthly subscription which expired after I was only able to use them for about a week before the outage began.

This situation has not only affected my productivity but has also taken an emotional toll on me. Electricity is essential for everything I need to work and grow in my career path. Without power, it has become almost impossible to function effectively.

I humbly appeal to EEDC to kindly look into this issue and help restore electricity to our area as soon as possible. Your urgent intervention would mean a lot to me and many others affected by this situation.

Thank you for your understanding and anticipated response.

Yours faithfully,
Judith Victor

It’s a new week, and instead of sharing a motivational quote, I just want to say a prayer for you and I.

May this week bring us peace in places where we’ve been worried, clarity in moments of confusion, and strength for every responsibility ahead.
May opportunities locate us, may our efforts speak for us, and may the work of our hands bring good results.

I pray that we experience growth, genuine connections, unexpected favor, and the kind of joy that makes hard days easier to carry.
May doors open for us that no amount of stress or overthinking could force open.

And above all, may we never lose the courage to keep showing up, learning, trying, and becoming better versions of ourselves.

Have a beautiful and productive week ahead ❤️ by @judith_vicks
