Hello Fam ❤️

Today, I woke up feeling extremely grateful.

it is ONE YEAR SINCE PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY ON EVI!!!

EVI fought so hard to be made and stretched @missy_uyi and I in ways we never imagined. Super grateful for our friendship Uyoyou, the things we have gone through together can break anyone spirit but we are still standing tall, THANK YOUUUUUU ❤️

One major investor committed to 50% of our budget but never came through, leaving us with growing debts and difficult choices. Yet, we refused to compromise our vision.

What hurt most wasn’t just the financial strain, this was a friend and someone I trusted so deeply and the way it happened. To be left carrying the weight of something we had all committed to, and to have it treated as though nothing had happened, is an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

But Fam! Through it all, WE MADE A BEAUTIFUL FILM.

To our incredible cast, crew, and everyone who showed up for us when we needed help the most, THANK YOU. ❤️

Special appreciation to our silent angel helper, and @queen_nehita , @davidlocations_ @omowunmi_dada , @femi_swayy , @barnyee , @chris_udomi , @rexkingsleyok for standing by us through the tough times. God bless you 🙏🏾❤️

Thank you to our amazing partners @africanofilter @entertainmentandmediahubs @canoncnafrica

EVI is travelling, and we can’t wait for this baby that refused to be terminated to find her home and meet you all.

And to those whose silence left others carrying the consequences of their commitments: silence doesn’t erase responsibility.

EVI, WE MADE YOU HAPPEN. ❤️

Happy one year anniversary to us!

Thank you for capturing all the beautiful moments @chuxosakwe

Hello Fam!!

Happy to announce we brought a beautiful baby home from Canada 😍 EVI won BEST MUSICAL DRAMA at @tinffestival 💃🏽

This is officially EVI first award and I would love to say a very massive congratulationssss to the entire cast and crew that brought this beautiful film to life 🎉

EVI is a product of grace and a miracle baby, one good day we will share the story but for now, join us to celebrate our first award 💃🏽💃🏽

We had sooo much fun making EVI , from recording the songs with the genius @tyanx and the entire music team @prod.eog @dopewonder , to our fire actors who sang down the house @osasokonyon @ariyiikedimples to the special appearance of @ibrahimsuleimanofficial and oh yes our director sang too @missy_uyi 😁

And on to our principal photography where our entire crew and cast brought their A-game to their roles and characters, everyday on set was a beauty to behold, from the clear vision of our brilliant director, to the performances of our badass cast, to the set designs, to the costumes, to the delicious frames, to the smoothness on set, to the peaceful efficient running of the set by the AD, to the beauty from the light department, to the fluid movement from the grip team, to the sound coordination from the sound team, to the Beautiful display from the makeup and hair team, to capturing of moments from the BTS and content team, to of-course the badass production team that made sure everybody got all they needed and shoot goes in a fantastic effortless way with no issues, to the post team that took all that beauty from set and made it even better and more delicious.

Every time I watch EVI , I am amazed by its beauty and how everything came together so perfectly, truly grateful to the entire team and to everyone that stood by us 🙏🏾.

Super Thankful to all our collaborators that came on this journey with us to bring EVI to life @entertainmentandmediahubs @africanofilter @noi_productions_ @signetringstudios @switchvisuals_ and our other awesome EPs ❤️

Congratulationss Everyone 🎉🎉

Thank you for picking it up for us Paddy mi, Omo Salami @salamirotimi 🙏🏾

Hello Fam,

Throwing it back to a glorious day, September 10th, 2016!!!! 10 years ago when my baby, my very first produced feature film had its international premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival @tiff_net 2016 along with 7 other awesome Nigerian films in its City to City showcase.

Grateful to @cameronpbailey and the team for selecting Just not Married out of all the amazing films that season, our film made it.

This journey was a game changer for me and the entire cast and crew’s filmmaking journey and we will forever be grateful.

We were blessed with an angel Publicist @meg_sethi that made sure we had all we needed, all our shows were not just sold out but we had standing ovations, it was so humbling and made everything worth it.

I am forever grateful to my friend @nicdbossbabe for her hospitality and making me feel at home in Canada ❤️

Grateful to my friend @isiatagamensakalis of @isiatagamenofficial for making me beautiful dresses and made sure I looked beautiful everyday❤️

It’s 10 years already Fam 😩 Congratulations again for being a part of a game changing, pace setting Film, there would be no JNM without you all ❤️ THANK YOU for believing in the dream, and taking the jump with me and having so much fun while at it @uduakobongpatrick_ @laniaisida @iamasurf @stannze @salamirotimi @rolandobutu @brutus_theactor @perpetuaadefemi @ijeomagraceagu @gregoryojefua @adedayodavies @sambasaofficial @buccifranklin @adeniyijohnson @bigmay__001 @delola_fadipe @tomiwasage @mrnwanso @seunthestoryteller @emzeeno @musicmagnate @gladystivkaa
