mental health awareness month hits differently when you’re carrying the weight of motherhood, heartbreak, grief, and healing all at the same time. there’s a kind of pain that comes from grieving people who are still alive , parents you still love deeply, but who don’t see you, support you, or show up for you the way you’ve always needed. being a single mom to two boys while balancing college full time, working full time, and trying to heal mentally, emotionally, and physically through weight loss can feel unbearably heavy and lonely some days. trying to survive while still showing up for everyone around you is exhausting in ways people don’t always see. but somehow, through every tear, sleepless night, disappointment, moment of burnout, and every silent battle, God continues to hold me together. when i felt abandoned, Jesus stayed. when i felt weak, He carried me. i have a Savior who never leaves me, and because of Him, my boys still get a mother who loves fiercely, keeps going, and fights every day to break cycles and create a softer life for them. thank you to my family and friends who have been there for me through it all. thank you with all my heart. my sweet lovie & my best friend maddy whose seen it all. whose wiped my tears and let me know i’m never alone. i love you all endlessly.

and to anyone else silently struggling with their mental health, i see you too. you are not alone in this, and i’m standing beside you. no matter how hard life has been, look at how far you’ve already come. some days survival itself is strength. healing isn’t loud all the time ,sometimes it looks like getting out of bed, showing up tired, crying behind closed doors, and still choosing to keep going. give yourself credit for the battles you’ve fought in silence.
