Banger track from the vault. Inztrow and @juice4real on a track keeping it underground and Raw!!

Let it be known that J.U.I.C.E is one of the illest emcees to this day to drop it hot on the mic. As the legend he be, he blessed my beat with a hot 16. Enough said, so check it out! by @juice4real

On June 28th, history was made at the XM Studios.
Two lyrical legends—Kurupt and Juice—were honored as Wake Up Show / Hip-Hop Icons 🏆✨

The night was electric: The House of Vibe All Stars tore it down with live beats, while 14 elite MCs blazed the mic with raw bars and real energy 🔥🎤

The whole night was captured—and trust us, you’ll want to see it.
Here’s a sneak peek… 🎬👀

On Episode 103 we get asked a question about the difference between a ‘freestyle’ or ‘off-the-top’ and the language used to describe these disciplines of an MC… We throw a few names out there of MCs we think are great at the off-the-top, impromptu skill… for me (Amba) I think @juice4real is just untouchable! Do you know an MC that’s better at multi-syllable, witty, story-telling off-the-dome freestyling?? Let us know in the comments!

This vid was originally made for my music page @tarbooshrecords records and this was the 10th episode in our ‘Retrospective’ series… go there to watch the rest of them 💥🐪

Wake up show cyphers were crazy back in the days. Just look in that room. We were on a live broadcast live to nyc with @djmarleymarl He was dropping beats live from nyc! I am not sure if @eminem really even knew the magnitude of that moment & time! If you could bust on the wake up show and hold your own - your name was buzzin across the country in the next couple of days. Just ask @kxngcrooked or @juice4real …. Congrats To EM AND 20 years of shade 45! Who knew the kid at that moment would be walking across the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME STAGE. Thank you to carmelita sanchez and rip big paul for holding us down for so many years. peace. @realsway & King tech. by @juice4real

R.I.P CHINO XL “Top 10 greatest mc ever on the wake up show” - Sway and Tech

Chino never let us down, as @kxngcrooked called him a “Lyricist Jedi”

It really doesn’t matter which decade of his music you find, he was never not ill with the bars…..

With some new found tapes by @akilisworld of Chino in the studio (about 4 weeks before the release of the Back2Basics album in 2005) we felt like we had to do a new version of the tribute song & video for Chino….

song by
dj king tech and mc juice @juice4real
scratches by @djrevolution
hook by @akistarr

shout out to @rodgee for the video
and joey c @hidefmedia for the sick artwork back in 2005

two hour special download of most of chinos classics available on wakeupshow.com

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER CHINO XL… by @juice4real

This song is our small token of appreciation for Chino Xl’s incredible contribution & his mastery of lyricism he left behind not only to the world of hip hop, but for future generations of writers & artists to decipher, break down and decode.

Rest in peace G…now you can have a cypher with Big Pun - Proof, Guru and Biggie up in heaven….and send us the audio so we can play it!

Song by DJ KING TECH & MC JUICE
Cuts by DJ REVOLUTION
AKI STARR ON the hook…

SONG TITLE “WE MISSING YOU” (CHINO XL REST IN PEACE)…(shout out to @rodgee for making this video) by @juice4real
