Josh Lanham joins the Voyagers! ⚾️
We’re excited to announce that right-handed pitcher Josh Lanham has officially signed with the Great Falls Voyagers! Josh comes to Great Falls after an outstanding career at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he became just the second All-American in program history, setting the school’s single-season wins record with 11 victories, a 2.40 ERA, and 112 strikeouts in 2022. This past summer, Josh also took his talents to the Frederick Keys of the MLB Draft League — showcasing his skills on the mound and competing against top collegiate talent.

Former player @juicebox26__ dropped in for a pen to grab some numbers as he ramps up for his pro season with the Great Falls Voyagers (Pioneer League), where he’s typically 91-93.

Josh is a 2024 Lenoir-Rhyne grad and has already logged pro time with the Mississippi Mud Monsters (Frontier League) and the Frederick Keys (MLB Draft League).

Fun having him back on the mound in our environment. 🔋⚾️ taken in Combine Academy Baseball by @juicebox26__

@juicebox26__ first came to Tread in October for our free motion capture assessment that was offered to current professional pitchers.

The 2 main points of emphasis for Josh were:
➡️ Keeping a good stacked position through the linear phase into front foot-strike.
➡️ Keeping the elbow in line with the shoulders throughout the throw.

After 3 months of training with @jcheesethrowing, Josh bumped his velo up 6 MPH and he recently signed a contract with the Mississippi Mud Monsters in the Frontier League. 🔥 by @juicebox26__
