Happy 30th Birthday to my best friend, my partner, and the most incredible woman I know. 💙

Watching you step into this new decade fills me with so much pride. You are one of the hardest-working, most caring, and strongest people I’ve ever met. Watching you build your business, love our family, and always show up for the people around you, you do everything with passion and grace.

Thank you for being such an amazing role model to Imani and for loving her as fiercely as you do. Our little girl is lucky to have you, and so am I. You’ve brought so much joy, stability, laughter, and love into our lives.

Through every high and low, you’ve been my biggest supporter, my safe place, and my best friend. I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else.

Here’s to 30 years of making the world better simply by being in it, and to all the incredible things still ahead of you. We love you more than words can say.

My First Year in ISP 💙🇨🇦

When I started my first year in the International Student Program, I thought my role would be helping students adjust to life in Canada.

What I didn’t expect was how much they would change my life too.

This year was filled with bus rides, campfires, scavenger hunts, late-night planning, endless laughs, unforgettable conversations, and moments that reminded me why this work matters. Watching students from all over the world arrive as strangers and leave as friends, classmates, and family has been something special to witness.

These students showed incredible courage. They left their homes, families, languages, and comfort zones to chase an experience on the other side of the world. Along the way, they taught me about resilience, kindness, curiosity, and what it means to embrace every moment.

The photos capture the adventures, but they don’t fully capture the memories. The inside jokes, the support they gave one another, the growth I watched happen in real time, and the relationships that will last long after Winnipeg is in the rearview mirror.

To every student who trusted me to be part of your Canadian journey: thank you. Thank you for your energy, your stories, your laughter, and for making my first year in ISP one I’ll never forget.

A special thank you for the messages, memories, and the Canadian flag filled with notes I’ll keep forever. It means more than you know.

No matter where life takes you next my friends, a piece of Winnipeg will always be yours, and a piece of all of you will always stay with me. 💙 by @juicefrmda44
