Why am I opening commissions when my art no good?

I decided to draw myself as a kid and post it to music I loved at that age.

Yes I decided to trace the ponyo pose. Ponyo was my favorite movie as a kid and little kid me wouldn’t care if it was traced I just wanted to run like ponyo. Regardless I’m proud of myself for attempting to draw a child facing forward since I never draw humans. This was my first attempt at humans since my drawing of my ogre/cyclops OC from the shrek universe a year ago. I’m feeling my hyper mania help me lock in for this and I’m so glad it did. Probably my favorite art piece of mine so far.

This is vent art about the fact that I cannot whistle. I have tried for years to learn how and I recently accepted that I just can’t do it. It’s an art form for sure.

I saw a reel of a dude whistling so perfectly (the creator of the audio) and was instantly enraged that I could not replicate the beautiful song. I decided to put that anger into art.
