Je bent er niet meer. Iets wat ik nog steeds niet kan geloven. Ik sprak je nog voordat je ging bevallen en stuurde;

“Succes vandaag! Zet hem op Ptjeeee, YOU GOT THIS!!!💖💖 Straks jullie kleine meid in je armen😱😱😱💞”

En een paar uur later was je er gewoon niet meer…

In 2013 leerde ik je kennen en ik wist meteen deze meid wil je in je buurt hebben. Je had de gave om mij speciaal te laten voelen. Wat hadden we een lol samen. Je had altijd leuke ideeën en samen hebben we zoveel meegemaakt. Altijd in voor een feestje, creatief bezig zijn, kringlopen, dinerparties, samen koken, samen wandelen, samen sporten (je motiveerde mij altijd als ik weer eens geen zin had.) Het maakte eigenlijk niet uit wat we deden, alles was een avontuur met jou.

Samen zijn we jaren lang alle feestjes en festivals afgegaan en hebben we zoveel lol gehad en altijd keihard staan dansen. Ik werd er nog weleens onzeker van als je weer werd aangesproken door iemand; wat heb je prachtige krullen zeiden ze dan. Je viel op, je was zo’n mooie verschijning, je straalde en kon een hele ruimte doen oplichten met je aanwezigheid. Het kwam weleens voor dat je op 1 avond misschien wel 20 x werd aangesproken op je haar. Ja nou weet ik het wel zei je dan op een gegeven moment, verzin wat origineels. Hahaha. Zo was je ook, niet op je mondje gevallen.

In 2015 gingen we samen met onze toenmalige vriendjes naar Italië. Wat een vakantie was dat. Jij, altijd alles goed voorbereid, alles tot in de puntjes geregeld, lijstjes gemaakt met dingen die je wilde doen. En ik super chaotisch, impulsief en een instelling van we zien het allemaal wel. Dat botste nog wel eens. We hadden toen door mij (altijd te laat) de laatste boot gemist in Cinque Terre. Je was niet blij en ik hoor het je nog zo zeggen; “Suuuuus waarom ben je nou weer te laat?!” Maar uiteindelijk konden we gelukkig terug met de trein, kwam alles goed, konden we er achteraf samen toch om lachen en hadden we een top vakantie.

Nieuwe recepten uitproberen. Dan had je weer wat op TikTok voorbij zien komen en dat moesten wij natuurlijk namaken.

Maar ik denk wat ik nog wel het meeste ga missen zijn de avondjes met z’n 2e op de bank, gewoon samen by @juicy_suzy

Happy birthday to me💞
This Ibiza retreat really made me realize that I need to focus on myself and my goals. And also that I need to believe in myself and give myself some credits and love. Because this year I’ve been through a lot of shit. Almost lost my dad, feeling depressed a lot, starting with therapy again and struggling with addiction. But I’m so grateful that I’m able to travel and that I live in a country free of war. I’m happy and healthy atm and that’s the most important thing!🙌🏼💕 by @juicy_suzy

2025; I can’t wait for it to be over and can honestly say this was my worst year ever. Both of my parents were sick. Seeing my mom battling with cancer and my dad laying on the ICU for months fighting for his life really broke my heart. I’m so thankful that they are both doing better now tho🙏🏼

Returning to the Netherlands after traveling through South America for 8 months really hit hard. I couldn’t adjust to the life here and felt back into depression and old habits really quick. I lost some of my closest friends, wasn’t my best self, wanted to die and felt like shit most of the time. Just a reminder that what you see on insta isn’t always real and you can never really know how someone is feeling from their “happy” page/posts.

In January I’m finally starting with therapy. Although I’m really scared and have very bad (traumatizing) experiences from my youth. I realized I need help and I can’t do it by myself. I have to face my demons from the past. I’ve been running from them for so long now. I always hoped I could grow out of it and once I would get older things will fade away. But unfortunately it doesn’t work like that and you have to deal with your problems instead of running away from them. I want to work on becoming a better person and being excited about the future again.

So for 2026 I just wish that my loved ones are healthy and me a little bit more healed❤️
