When Inktober ended last week, I honestly thought I’d never want to draw again 😅
Luckily, it only took a week to recover.
This time, I needed something different from ink, so I picked up charcoal instead. It's really meditative and perfect to capture misty night scenes. ✨️🌙🖤

Inktober 2026 - Day 17: Contraption

Somehow, as a non-smoker, I always seem to have the bad luck of cigarette smoke drifting straight towards me. So I came up with the idea for this practical smoke hood. 😁

Inktober 2026 - Day 15: Hooray

Today's prompt made me think of the iconic German Neue Deutsche Welle song from the 80s, "Hurra, hurra, die Schule brennt" (Hooray, hooray, the school is burning!) 😅
So, here it is...

Inktober 2026 - Day 11: Rescue

"The Mediterranean remains one of the world's deadliest sea migration routes. During the first six months of 2026, at least 1,410 people died or went missing while attempting to reach Europe by sea, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Since 2014, more than 35,000 people have lost their lives or gone missing while seeking safety, protection or a better life in Europe. To save migrants in distress at sea, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) deploy search and rescue (SAR) vessels in the Central Mediterranean but continue to face legal and administrative obstacles."
