Hey friends, for this #givingtuesday I want to share with y'all about the Scholarship set up in my Dad's name Roy D. Johnson Beef Farm Scholarship at our local @collegeoftheozarks
College of the Ozarks Agriculture Department where students gain hands on knowledge through work assignments each semester. This is a joyous, happy, yet difficult time for many including Mom. Remember your loved ones with fond memories. Today I remember Roy Johnson--Dad, and all the good still here because of him.
💛
I know that many of you have already made generous donations to the Dr. Roy D. Johnson Beef Farm Scholarship Fund over the past years (many thanks to you all!), but for those that have not, or wish to continue to support his legacy, the information is below.
💛
Mom could not have married a better man and I'm proud to call Roy Dad. Roy was loyal to God, country, family, community, and career as evidenced by his many accomplishments and selfless donation of time and resources to help others throughout the years. When asked what his greatest accomplishment was (while being interviewed in 2004 upon receiving the Distinguished Service to college of the Ozarks Award) Roy replied, "My greatest accomplishment has been my chance to help students mature academically, vocationally, spiritually, patriotically, and culturally." Regarding his experiences at School of the Ozarks, he said, "The School of the Ozarks provided examples (Beulah Winfrey, Dr. R.M. Good, and Dr. M. Graham Clark) to pattern my life after; they taught me the meaning of life is to help others."
💛
The Dr. Roy D. Johnson Beef Farm Scholarship Fund has been established with the following provisions: (1) The scholarship fund is to be created for the purpose of providing a $500 award each spring to one deserving student. Funds are to be used for books, class fees, etc. (2) Students receiving the award must demonstrate good character. (3) Student recipients must work at the College of the Ozarks Beef Farm.
💛
It would be appreciated for all persons wanting to contribute to this fund to please donate online at

GROCERY STORE BOUQUET IS OUT NOW!

It takes a lot of people to bring a song to life and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with these talented musicians and friends-

Thank you to my co-writer and friend @deborahdawns of the @jukeboxwinos for inviting me to co-write this song.

Thank you to @cheyennemedders and @nicolewittmusic for producing, playing, singing and making this track beautiful.

Thank you to @dombillett for adding his talents on drums.

Thanks to Alex at @trueeastmastering for making it sound great!

And thank you to my friend @keri.woo for taking the cover photo.

I’d be so grateful if you’d give it a listen or ten and share it with someone today. 💙🌸🌼 by @jukeboxwinos
