Decided to check out @le_mondedenoe in Paris 16, honestly didn’t know what to expect. But my 9 year old was adamant that we should check it out and consider it for her upcoming birthday party.

Imagine my surprise at how fun, educational, clean and professional the whole place is. The “Rangers” are incredibly knowledgeable and everything there is done to help the animals, most of whom have been saved from laboratories or animal shops where they were deemed “too old” to be sold.

You are in and out in 1h30, you have to book online but the process is painless and yes, we are now booking Mini’s birthday there. They offer team building, outings for retirement homes, it’s not just for kids! There are a maximum number of tickets sold per time tranche which means you are never overwhelmed.

The Rangers said there is a second location that will be opening with snakes and spiders, I am VERY grateful that is not open yet!

My spfs. @ultravioletteau Extreme Screen and Fave Fluid are indeed my favourites and ones I’ve been using for a few years now (FF only in the past year). They’ve come with me to many hot beaches, islands and swimming pools and have protected me so well. The best sunscreen is the one you will wear and I have backups of both because they work for me.

This doesn’t leave a white cast on me, but I’m Lily white so not a good test subject. Reapplication is a dream! by @jules.barlan

Paris to Amsterdam and back ❤️ being on the canals in the beautiful sunshine, dinner on the canals and seeing The Night Watch at the Rijks was incredible.

Endive salad anyone? (Chicory in US). Have put recipe below, but definitely can be adapted to what you like!

2 endives
Handful chopped walnuts
1/3 blue cheese crumbled
Handful of dried cranberries (I should have chopped mine)

I am a sucker for a bookshop, and @chantelivreparis just reopened and is such a wonderful light space. The children’s section is HUGE, with books ranging from very young to teens. The shop assistants are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. There is a Maison des Histoires experience that you can book tickets for online for kids up to age 7, which includes games, stories and fun. I love a bookshop, my 8 year old loves books, and we spent a lovely time browsing, querying and buying some new releases. If you’re in Paris definitely take your child and check it out, but to help your wallet it might be better not to bring the child. I should add that there is an adult section too, but I was too caught up in the wall of Mangas to really look. Enjoy!
