SWANS 🫀🦢🪡⭐️ Stepping into the world of Mary Oliver’s work “The Swan” we got to be in a constant in process engagement with nature. Although the swan is an elegant creature and is actively being compared to things equally as delicate there is an essence that understands that there needs to be opposition. That something so pretty cannot be the way it is without its counterpart. As women, @jules.stonebridge and I felt connected to the representation of the swan and the way that Mary Oliver’s writing awakened this power of self, balance, and grace. “La Petite Fille de La Mer” a balance of delicate yet obscure interactions. So beyond thankful to have gotten to create and perform this for a Mary Oliver tribute in May of last year and to rediscover it as a film this year with Jules I do not own the rights to this music by @jules.stonebridge
