#originalsong #songwriter #dementia #grief I wrote this song in 2024 when my mom turned 100, then she surprised everyone and made it to 101. I made this video last year. She made it to her 102nd birthday in June but sadly passed away on Saturday night. The last time I spoke to her I sang her “Blues in the night” by Ella Fitzgerald and she said “I didn’t think I’d ever hear your voice again.” That broke me….. Hope you’re listening, Mom. Some songs stay with us because they remind us that Change is part of being human.

My acoustic interpretation of Duran Duran’s Ordinary World is now available on streaming platforms.

A song about searching for meaning, holding on the memories, and finding your way through change.
