Thank you to each person who sent your sympathy for Midnight’s loss. I found myself going to the door last night and this morning to check on him. This photo was taken October 2025. by @julesbourbonballs

This is the burial site for Midnight in my backyard. The moss covered rocks were a perfect tombstones for this feral cat who life was lived free. The bloom is off a Canna flower. by @julesbourbonballs

Midnight, my feral cat, who made his home on my porches and mainly on my backside porch for approximately 2 years is gone. He was so frail and could barely eat his cat food. It was cruel to keep him alive any longer. I will miss him since I fed him a can of Friskies in the morning and a bowl of dry food in the evening. He would listen when I talked to him. by @julesbourbonballs

Tonight, I made Roasted Parmesan Green Beans. I also fried Chicken, it’s been years since I fried Chicken. I usually bake it. Toasted salad with Balsamic, olive oil and green bell pepper made for a tasty meal. The green beans with Parmesan cheese were excellent. by @julesbourbonballs

Yesterday, I dug-up the plants in the front porch flower boxes and added asparagus ferns to each box then reset the other flowering plants. My plan is to leave until Thanksgiving. by @julesbourbonballs
