Let me share part of my testimony with you.

I used to think I had an identity in Christ simply because I believed in God and went to church. I called myself a Christian, yet I lived for the world six days a week and felt “clean” for one. Deep down, my life was filled with sin, emptiness, and pain I tried to ignore.

Christ met me at my absolute lowest — a season where I genuinely didn’t want to be here anymore. I had reached a point where I realized I could not do life on my own. I had to get real, raw, and honest with myself. When I finally let my walls down and let Jesus in, I saw the truth: I wasn’t following Him at all. I was following the world, and it gave me nothing but temporary pleasure and lasting depression.

In the moment I was considering taking my life, I made a choice. I chose not to let the enemy win. I chose to accept Jesus not just as someone I believed in, but as my Savior. Since that moment, I have not turned back. My thoughts and desires changed. The way I love, hurt, and trust changed. My entire perspective changed because my life is now built on a firm foundation — Jesus Christ.

Before, I let the world decide who I was. Now, my identity comes from Christ, and He reminds me that I am worthy and my life is worth living. My name is Jules Smith and by His grace, I have been born again.

I GOT BAPTIZED!!

Made this decision to get rebaptized because the Lord has been PHENOMENAL in my life and put it on my heart to make this decision. The last time I got baptized was when I was 10 years old, and at the time it had no meaning to me because I hadn’t known God. It was still so powerful, but I only did it because everyone else did it. Now, I’m 19, and the Lord has radically changed and transformed my life completely around. God is so good, and so so real and HE WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU! Yes, YOU. And there’s no check box to cross, no “getting right” before you can have a relationship with Him. He wants to meet you exactly where you’re at because He loves you and He’s waiting for you to run home to Him.
