Joshua Tree earlier this year. Taken on my $20 thrifted film camera with @lomography LomoChrome Purple. I love how this photo came out so much that I made it my phone background. I had this film in my camera for over a year taking photos whenever we found ourselves on camping trips (which we need more of in 2026). Joe’s journey with film photography really inspired me to pick up a camera again 🧡

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @slenderfella 🧡🧡🧡🧡 this past year has gone by SO fast, probably because we’ve been running around having so much fun, making so many memories. You truly know how to find a way to make the days filled with good times, you keep me (and everyone) laughing, you have theee best dance moves, and you’re a magnet for cool ass people who want to be our friends! Mid Year catch up! I post on my stories like it’s nobody’s business but here’s some clips and snips from 2025 so far 🧡 (all 16 slide descriptions down here 👇🏻)
1) tide pooling with Joe, Sam, Christian, and Lexi in Encinitas
2) celebrating my 31st birthday very last minute at the brewery
3) Justice at the Spotlight for the KROQ show we won tickets for (of 2 private Justice DJ sets we saw this year)

5) Day 0 at Coachella feels like this

7) each morning at Coachella in our mega camp felt like this
8) I had to include these dance moves by Joe, I’ve watched the video so many times because he’s just perfect
9) Chase & Status in the Sahara one of the best sets ever
10) Turnstile at the Ukrainian Culture Center, we are so lucky we got tickets to this ahead of the bigger shows they’re having later this year
11) road trip up to SF to catch Justice with these crazies, would do it again x10
12) Sam and I at the movie theater to catch the Turnstile visual album

15) our Tame Impala vinyl came in today and we had to do a lil photo shoot with it before opening it

Sequoia National Park

We went to Sequoia for a couple of days and I put my photography pants back on. These are 3 of my favorite shots I took on film.
1. Joe scoping out the map as always. He takes the lead, I follow happily.
2. A giant Sequoia, one of the most fascinating organisms on this PLANET.
3. Joe on Beetle Rock. This looks like it’s in a completely different universe, but it’s in ours 💚

I chose this song because it’s my favorite Tame Impala song. In the forest I truly feel like myself. I am an alter ego to who I am in the city, at work, in the routines of society. We have more meaningful thoughts and conversations, there’s no need for judgment of others or yourself, we are here to learn and appreciate the natural state of our world as it once was. Forever grateful for our protected lands and that slowly people are understanding how these lands were acquired. There is so much to learn and respect. My Deeper Well 💚 some pieces of my camera roll that bring me peace. Ever since this song came out, it’s resonated with me in so many ways. From the very first lyric being about a “Saturn return” (apparently mine did this year) to being a giver, outgrowing habits and people, @spaceykacey somehow wrote the soundtrack to my life yet again. by @julia_beee

Coachella ‘fits 2024
I thought I had planned exactly what I was going to wear but as usual it changes the second I feel the sweat dripping down my forehead. Comfort is key but I had to sacrifice my toes for the platform docs ✨
1️⃣Crochet dress is thrifted, I’ve been saving it for an entire year and it met all expectations 🤎
2️⃣In an effort to not over consume just in preparation for the festival, I did outfit repeat those sparkle shorts but I will wear them until the gems fall off.
3️⃣I saw Gwen Stefani wear plaid pants and buns so I wore plaid pants and buns… I added their merch tank and a dollar store butterfly 🦋 hair color by @sam.casillas 💜🧡🩷 by @julia_beee

This is a @etjusticepourtous stan account now. By far one the best sets I have ever seen in my LIFE. There were countless times myself and the people around me had mouths wide open in awe. I rarely post videos but I have to have these permanently plastered on my page so I can come back to watch. I cried during, after, and I’m crying now!! Music is magic.
@slenderfella made one of many festival buddies we made over the weekend. We danced and sang and shared this beautiful set together and parted ways; that’s the beauty of Coachella 🧡 by @julia_beee

Joshua Tree with Joe, Sam, and Christian for my little 30th birthday getaway. Something about this place keeps bringing us back and makes us never want to leave. The vast desert, colossal rocks, and the hidden wildlife make each visit so beautiful. I felt so loved with the cutest cake set up and tent decorations that Sam brought 🧡 the full moon brought us night vision and we had our best campfire dinners yet. I love this place and I love my people taken in Joshua Tree, California by @julia_beee
