Dos meses en Bulgaria componiendo, aprendiendo, creando música y también lazos, 2 meses escuchando, empezando de 0, entendiendo todo y no entendiendo nada.. Quiero agradecer a quienes hicieron posible esta experiencia que sin dudas marcó un hito en mi vida y me recuerda que hay un mundo nuevo que podemos tejer y compartir. Gracias a la Agencia para los Búlgaros en el Extranjero, Sra Mandjukova @iva.krumova.bg y equipo, y a la querida @colectividadbulgaraberisso (@ivana.cotcheff y @petcoffml <3) por ayudarme a cumplir este sueño. Gracias @artesonorountref y @raul.minsburg por el apoyo y a @tsarinoair y @nicoskopanica por recibirme a mi y a este proyecto con los brazos abiertos a 12.000km de casa. Y ultimo pero fundamental: gracias a las enormes y sabias maestras que con tanta paciencia y amor se dedican día a día al folklore búlgaro, a este canto hipnotizante, hermoso, único en el mundo y que robó mi corazon. @neliandreeva.official @gerganataskova , @gergana___dimitrova @yavortaskov85 . Esto recién está comenzando!

Two months in Bulgaria composing, learning, creating music, and also building connections—two months of listening, starting from scratch, understanding everything and yet understanding nothing… I want to thank everyone who made this experience possible, which undoubtedly marked a milestone in my life and reminds me that there’s a whole new world we can weave together and share. Thank you to Ms. Mandjukova, @iva.krumova.bg and Agency for the Bulgarians Abroad , and to my dear @colectividadbulgaraberisso (@ivana.cotcheff and @petcoffml <3) for helping me make this dream come true.

Thank you, @artesonorountref @raul.minsburg for your support, and to @tsarinoair and Kopanica @nicoskopanica for welcoming me and this project with open arms 12,000 km from home. And last but not least: thank you to the incredible and wise teachers who, with such patience and love, dedicate themselves day after day to Bulgarian folklore—to this mesmerizing, beautiful singing, unique in the world, that stole my heart. @neliandreeva.official , @gerganataskova , @gergana___dimitrova , and @yavortaskov85 . EL FUEGO DE JULIA ❤️‍🔥

La artista @juliaarbos compartió su segundo disco, El camino del fuego (2026), que va a presentar este sábado 25 de abril en La Tangente.

Coproducido junto a Juan Ibarlucía, el disco está compuesto por nueve canciones que mezclan sonidos orgánicos y electrónicos con el fin de conectar lo ancestral con lo contemporáneo. En esa búsqueda, explora la tradición de las voces búlgaras. “El disco me implicó un desafío a nivel vocal: canto en un registro muy grave y también en uno muy agudo; exploro distintos tipos de voces”, cuenta.

I am a musician and producer. I arrived in Tsarino after years of researching the voice and focusing specifically on Bulgarian folk singing. I set out to develop a project that combined contemporary and traditional vocal techniques with electronic processing. But once here, I discovered I had to take another step back: to listen. To listen deeply. Guided by the Rhodope Mountains, which centuries ago inspired the songs I love so much, I discovered, on the one hand, this soundscape built upon the incessant buzzing of thousands of bees, wasps, bumblebees, and flies, the songs of birds unknown to me, cows, and mysterious creatures. But I also discovered new voices. In Latin America, it’s not very common to be surrounded by people who speak different languages. So, for me, this listening also involves letting myself be dazzled by the plasticity of the human voice, freely playing within the performance of meaning that each language offers.

Нека ви представим Джулия. Аз съм музикант и продуцент. Пристигнах в Царино, след като години изучавах гласовете на българските народните певци. Залових се с развитието на проект, комбиниращ модерни и традиционни вокални техники с електронни процеси. Но след като пристигнах тук, разбрах, че трябва да поспра, да слушам. Да слушам задълбочено. Ръководена от Родопите, които са вдъхновението на песните, които така обичам, открих пейзаж от безспирното жужене на хиляди пчели, оси и мушички, непознати за мен птичи песни, крави и мистериозни същества. А също така и открих нови гласове. В Латинска Америка е рядкост да бъдеш заобиколен от хора, които говорят на различни езици. Та това мое слушане означава и да се оставя да бъда смаяна от гъвкавостта на човешкия глас, който на свобода си играе с предаването на смисъл, заложен от всеки един език.

🇧🇬🎶 Con mucha alegría compartimos este reconocimiento a nuestra directora de coro, Julia Arbos, quien fue recibida por la Agencia Ejecutiva para los Búlgaros en el Exterior en reconocimiento a su compromiso con la preservación y difusión del folclore búlgaro en Argentina.

Durante su estadía en Bulgaria continuará su formación y participará en diversos proyectos musicales, una experiencia que sin duda enriquecerá el trabajo que desarrolla junto a nuestra colectividad.
