Hi, I’m Julia! I’ve been wanting to do this for such a long time, and I finally decided to go for it. I realized that there will never be a “right” time or a perfect version of myself to wait for. While my life isn’t insanely fun and spontaneous at the moment, I’ve found that finding the beauty in the small tasks makes it all worthwhile. Not every day will be perfect, and i’m sure there will be times where i will want to quit, but nothing worthwhile comes easy. Listen, I too fell victim to the 20s propaganda. No, you might not find some random dream hobby that will make you a millionaire by 25, you might not find the love of your life in Paris, and you might not even like your job right now. That is OK.

Your 20s are for trying new things, building a strong foundation for your future, and learning a little bit more about yourself each day. It won’t always be glamorous, but that’s kind of the beauty in it.

building a life, entry 2.

I genuinely feel like the weeks just fly by if you let them. Reflecting on this past week, i’ve noticed that i feel so much happier when i am creating. Life can often feel so serious and fast-paced, but taking time to do something for yourself is so beneficial.

I have literally no idea where i want to end up, but every week i learn a little bit more.
