What a journey👑🌎

I came to Miss World hoping to make the most of an opportunity, and I leave with so much more than I ever imagined. 🤍

Thank you to the Miss World Organisation for believing in me and for giving women across the world a platform to turn beauty into purpose. I’m so grateful to have shared something so personal to me on this stage.

To my Miss World sisters, you are all incredible in your own unique ways. I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with so many inspiring women and made friendships I’ll carry with me forever.

This experience tested me more than I anticipated - long days, late nights, little sleep and a lot of determination. But it also showed me what I’m capable of. Things that once terrified me, I’ve now achieved. I’m especially proud to have used my voice to speak about grief and hopefully help others feel less alone.

I’m so proud to have reached Top 5 Europe in Head-to-Head and Multimedia, Top 23 in Talent, Top 60 in Top Model, and to have won Chef Beauty. 🤍

To my family and friends, thank you for being there through every high and difficult moment. Max, my rock, thank you for being my constant and making the hardest days easier.

To my team, thank you for everything behind the scenes. Kelvin, you’ve been not just my director but a true friend, and I’m so grateful for your close support. Rafa, Nyree and Charlene thank you for making me feel beautiful and confident, for your tireless dedication in making sure I show up the best version of myself. Today I had the privilege of standing on the Miss World Head-to-Head stage and sharing a story that means more to me than I could ever put into words.

Just one day after what would have been Jessie’s 24th birthday, I stood before my Miss World delegates and spoke her name, shared our journey and opened up about the grief that has shaped so much of who I am today.

Five years ago, I could never have imagined standing here. There were days when simply looking ahead felt impossible. But somehow, through the pain, I found purpose - and that purpose has carried me further than I ever thought possible.

Today was for Jessie, for everything she taught me and for anyone learning to navigate life alongside grief.

There can still be light on the darkest days. Sometimes, we just can’t see it yet. 🤍

Grief was not the ending of my story. It became the beginning of my purpose.

TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE | Beauty With a Purpose 🤍

A story of grief, cancer, hope and the purpose that can be born from our darkest moments.

From losing my little sister Jessie to bowel cancer at just 19, to supporting families through Cancer Relief Gibraltar, taking that purpose to Ghana with Help Me Learn Africa, and now helping another child through his own cancer journey - this video tells the story of how Jessie’s legacy has become a force for change far beyond our shores.

And somehow, in the most meaningful twist of fate, my official Beauty With a Purpose video was released to the world on what would have been Jessie’s 24th birthday. 🕊️

From Gibraltar to Ghana, and now to the Miss World stage - this is her story, her legacy, and the purpose she left behind.

Her courage was her crown. Her legacy became my purpose.

Miss World Gibraltar Julia Horne joined her community for Cancer Research’s Walk for Life, continuing the cancer awareness work she shared with an international audience at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam.

She carried Jessie in her heart and mind during her walk, whose story became a central part of her Beauty With a Purpose project.

“For me, that reason will always be Jessie,” Julia wrote in a social media post after the event.

A morning filled with love, hope and togetherness. 💗

Today, our community came together for Cancer Research’s Walk for Life, each of us walking for our own reasons, but all united by the same hope.

For me, that reason will always be Jessie. 🤍

Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a story. Today was another reminder of why raising awareness, supporting research and fighting for earlier diagnosis matters so much.

For those fighting, those who have survived and those we carry with us every single day. 🎗️

What a proud moment🤍

Today, Sally and Wendy presented me with an incredible £8,840 towards Selasie’s treatment, following their amazing fundraising efforts which raised over £9,000.

This will be instrumental in supporting Selasie’s treatment and journey ahead, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
