Merry Maidens (Rupture)

was gutted when the film came out of the processing machine completely shredded, but I sandwiched the two halves in an enlarger and created something fun regardless. I ❤️ happy accidents and play and experimentation. by @juliaklisiewicz

My image ‘Mind Flowers’ will be part of the ‘Cornish Maids’ exhibition at the Falmouth Art Gallery which will be running from the 10-31st October.

Woohooo exhibition coming up! ##

It’s been a slow couple months in terms of shooting and production of images. I’m so unbelievably keen to get back into the darkroom soon, but in the meantime here’s an image I took on some recent wanderings across the seashores. by @juliaklisiewicz

I’m pleased to share an image from a current work in progress exploring grief and loss, and the process of coming to terms with these feelings through photography.

This series will be show at the @hungryeyefair Haute Photographie Fair in Rotterdam in a group exhibition this week as part of the @gup.magazine Fresh Eyes Vol. 3 Photo Book Launch.

Opening is tomorrow through until Sunday taken in Rotterdam, Netherlands by @juliaklisiewicz

Wanted to say a huge huge thank you to @girlsinfilm_gif and @tatecollective for including my photograph ‘What Becomes of Earth’ at Girls in Film x Late at Tate Britain a couple of weeks back.
