I freaking forgot a couple drawings for the Dark post 😬fffffffrustrated.

My whole doodling session actually started with my need to draw old Egon's consistently open mouth and his younger version's haircut.

Guess who FINALLY binge-watched Dark and got pretty obsessed with it 💛 It's easily one of the most impressive pieces of media I've ever encountered. Just as everyone said.

And after so much appreciation for the writers and casting directors of the show, it was only natural that I ended up drawing some fanart of it. The cast was so iconic I opted for a more exaggerated and cartoony style on these drawings. It's been a fun exercise.

From aaaaaaall the things that #Backrooms could have inspired me to draw... This is what I got: Mr. Mark Duplass 💚 In fact, it inspired me to go watch Creep 2 and confirm that whenever this man is involved in a project, it generally means good news to me.

Coping with grief by writing and bawling my eyes at this sweet puppy face that he had. Dogs. We don't deserve them.

Thanks for all these years, Caldito

I thought it'd be poetic to say goodbye to 2025 with a character for a dnd campaign that never happened. Let's give Irving a minute of glory.

Top 10 out of 63 books read this year. In no particular order. Honourable mentions: Burnt gums by Natalia Velarde and Boulder by Eva Baltasar. Another year in Ireland but one where Spanish titles have taken over the podium thanks to online libraries.

Keeping two - @jdrancor
I rarely cry with books and this comic literally left me gasping for air. Savage read.

Love in exile - @shon.faye
My most anticipated read of the year and it didn't disappoint 💚

Nosotras vinimos tarde - @elisacoll_
Never has a Madrid-Cáceres train trip been as painless and delightful as the one I spent absorbed by this beautiful book.

Una casa en la ciudad - @iluros
Read it without any expectations. Then I found myself perfectly seen by this haunting compilation of memories by an artist spending years abroad.

El volumen del tiempo - Solvej Balle
On the calculation of volume. First book in a series of seven where a woman finds herself trapped in a time loop. Same day for seven books. I don't know if I'll be able to stick for the whole thing but the first book was terribly unique. A very contemplative take on time loops.

El informe - Remedios Zafra
If you ever worry about the nonsense that is just living to work, this book is for you. My introduction to Remedios Zafra. Highly recommended.

Too match - Inma Benedito
Lesbian chaos at its best. Fun, agile and insightful. Very much needed when dealing with dating apps.

One day everyone will have always been against this - Omar El Akkad
Simply the most important book one can read these days. Puts everything we struggle to say about the genocide in Palestine into words. Best read from 2025 👑

El celo & Escribir antes - Sabina Urraca
Tandem read to end the year and appreciate the wisdom and craft of Sabina Urraca. What's better than enjoying a book and being able to continue the experience with a writing diary?

A whole year of comic drafts and conversations that will be kept in my memory and notebooks. Probably for the better. The important thing is that the one comic with a message worth-spreading was done. But since it bears repeating: Free Palestine.

For a more humane year.
