In celebration of The Third Shift being released this week, here’s a piano rendition of one of the tunes I wrote for the game, Looking Through the Glass. Please wear headphones!

This track accompanies the player as they wander through the maze-like halls of the aquarium exhibit.

I also put some sheet music together for it if you’re interested in learning it for yourself: https://juliancrowhurst.gumroad.com/l/looking-through-the-glass

"One Summer's Day" by Joe Hisaishi

It's the last day of summer, so I thought it apt to share a section of this piece by one of my favorite composers. I had posted part of this performance as a Story earlier in the week but here's a longer version of it!

I had a neat opportunity to play the Perennial Order main theme in front of the beautiful Cologne Cathedral! Just after leaving the cathedral, we saw a street performer who was kind enough to let me borrow his piano for a minute so we could get this video. I think this is the first time I've ever played out "on the street" like this 😅

A full day today ~ attended No Kings Annapolis, then went on a windy walk in the park with my bud, followed by a walk through downtown. Milton was a trooper!

Happy Monday, and happy June! Here’s a cover of one of my favorite songs, June Hymn, by The Decemberists. Thanks for listening! (Warning, I’m singing in this one...)

As always, listening on something other than phone speakers is preferable 🙂

Me and @regularboyadvanced at The Third Shift launch party the other week, hosted by the amazing @velcrokid. It’s been a crazy few weeks but I’m so proud of Scottie and the game we made together.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, and are into the idea of a Game Boy styled horror game inspired by Resident Evil and Clock Tower, please try The Third Shift on Steam! @teebowahgames by @juliancrowhurst

I'm thrilled to share that The Third Shift Original Soundtrack will release on Steam the same day the game comes out - NEXT TUESDAY - April 21.

This collection of original chiptune music (alongside a few classical renditions) accompanies players as they patrol the mysterious halls of the Roanoke Museum of History and Wonder.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with the amazing @shaferbrown on this phenomenal album artwork. I am so grateful for their contribution to this album!

Check out the OST alongside the game when they release on Steam next week! It will be coming to streaming services shortly after.
