Roll up with a couple friends, a couple dice and all the snacks you can muster because this week we’re gathering around the table top with performer, game designer and theatre creator, Julian Frid (he/him) to discuss his experience as a player and creator of INDIE TABLETOP ROLE PLAYING GAMES! We chat about the joy of mutual hallucination, why more failure is more fun, swords vs. can openers, genre specific win conditions and some wonderfully weird game mechanics that use everything from text messages to candles to Jenga towers. Plus, we learn how Julian and his writing partner went from playing their own homebrew D&D campaign to publishing a TTRPG of their very own.

For more info on Sine, check out their upcoming Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oxgamettrpg/sine-a-story-driven-rpg
