🌀 Latest radio b2b Jake Tidd 🌀

Snippets ft: Jake . @laimaadelaide @andrea_cossu_music . @andershajem . @jek.media @djfix_ . @tywi.dj . @hibziak . @caim.mark // @alchemistarecords_ . @spectral.bounce . @pond.records . @peopleandplacesldn

So fun to reunite no less than 13yrs after meeting in halls at Leeds and reconnecting recently over music.

I’ve been a big fan of Jake’s own productions for a while, and the forthcoming one in here is a real treat to premiere. Look out for his next release on @area52.ldn 👀

Plenty of other gems we’ve been loving as well.

We’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. @juliasc_____ has a plethora of mixes that have caught our ears and so it’s now a pleasure to have her step in for Avl.131. Best sampled in the morning haze 🌿

Julia SC - “I’ve been diving into lots of old trip hop, downtempo and breakbeat lately, so wanted to play slower than I normally do for this mix. Enjoy the trip 🌀 and thanks for the invite!”

After a long hiatus the Liquid joy mix series arrives back onto the shores 🌊 🏝️

Introducing Liquid Joy 011 w/ @juliasc_____

Julia SC Is an up-and-comer in the London trance/prog scene, Julia SC’s passion is for the emotional side of progressive dance music.

Julia explores her sound through her residency ‘Mirage’ on @komrad94 with a growing number of appearances on platforms including Manual Smiles, Comma Traxx, PMAD and Fuaim as well as warming up dance-floors for artists including Vitaline, Wigs and Eoin DJ.

Balancing sun-kissed melodies with tripped out, driving undertones, Julia’s sets include vintage 90s and 00s digs as well as modern finds spanning house, prog, trance, breaks, techno and electro.

About the mix 💧

The mix is an hour of delicate euphoria featuring loads of hazy, deep dream house and a bit of trance from ’98-’08. This became a bit of a labour of love (3 re-records hah) and a calm and introspective period took me in an overall softer direction than I was expecting. So grateful to come on the series, hope you enjoy the journey.

A massive thanks to Julia for this incredible mix perfect for early summer sun kissed sky 🌅

I went a bit off piste and ended my year of Mirage on @komrad94 with a D&B/jungle special - equal parts twinkly and trippy ✨🌀

Very fun to dig in new territory and play faster than I ever have before.

Warm Up x PMAD 🖤

Two worlds collide for one colossal warehouse rave – the first-ever collaboration between two long-standing underground communities, merging energies for something bigger than both.

Months in the making, this marks a one-off moment: a meeting of Warm Up’s Raveland legacy with PMAD’s queer sanctuary, united under one roof for a night of freedom, connection, and collective ecstasy.

Expect a secret industrial location with hidden nooks to explore, a carefully curated main dance-floor, the debut @aidan_warm_up_london B2B @___muther , and an all-queer welfare team on hand to look out for everyone.

DM for access – verification helps us keep the space welcoming and respectful ✨

I invited my friend Ted @drshemphouse on for a b2b for my latest @komrad94 show.

We planned to centre the show around some of Ted’s unreleased productions under his new The Rhythm Frequency Project alias - but in classic form, we got carried away in the studio and forgot the plan for an hour.

Still - pleased with how it turned out. A mix of vintage bits and newer goodies from @harry_mason01 @paramidaaa @mpegmusic 🌀

For our eleventh podcast we invite Julia SC 🌞

An hour of deep, moody, irresistible grooves, constantly progressing and evolving with the occasional vocal sprinkled in - it’s a real treat from the London artist, and an incredible journey - the perfect mix to zone out to while relaxing at home or heading from A to B 🚘

‘This mix is the deeper and more melancholic side of the music I’m most loving at the moment. I’ve had tunnel vision for old school mid-00s digs recently - just so rich and full of emotion.’ - @juliasc_____
