to the young worshipper, there is still a standard. yes grace abounds & the church often is a hospital, but the word of God still stands above every system man has put in place. the blood of Jesus is still speaking. His Name truly carries power. i don’t like to live in the past but please take me baaack to JRML 2026. the Lord’s agenda being executed + the number of young people gathered to worship Jesus was truly electrifying. ♥️ the next generation is in good hands because this generation is committed to the purity of Jesus.@havenmissions by @juliaukattah

i love & take summer camp very seriously. the long cross-state charter bus rides, the scorching sun during pool days that make you question quite literally everything, the bunk beds & always asking for bottom bunk, bottomless sunscreen/bug spray (smells included) & mandatory chapel time- those experiences built character. truly.the picture of me is from summer camp 15 years ago. i often think & thank God for the counselors i had at camp. honestly, i only cared for their sound wisdom + advice that defined my life and the decisions i made- not what they were definitely going through behind the scenes that seemed like ‘too much life’ for me as a young girl.they may not have realized it when they were just shutting off our cabin lights or tying our team bandanas, but they helped shape me. that stage & those camp experiences shouldn’t be neglected. they may not recognize it, but every young child needs that moment where they are “forced” to choose independence & most importantly, the Lord Jesus. #lightentry005 📓⛅️🏕️🪵🫂🫶🎧 by @juliaukattah

two years ago i made the decision with the Lord that i didn’t want to spend a DIME on my masters program. i didn’t know the exact way it would be orchestrated, but i knew i was being led by God- and He is not a liar. after a coworker sending me an application for a program with a 1.3% chance of a acceptance PLUS a scholarship, applying and clicking submit with my family, and waiting patiently for a final response- i am humbled to say that my masters program is on a FULL RIDE scholarship. only by the grace of God 😭THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!! your daughter is grateful.light entry 004 💡📸: @iyanuphotography by @juliaukattah
