TW: With it being suicide awareness month, I figured this was a good opportunity to share my current situation and spread awareness. Back in June I almost ended my life and since then I’ve spent each day fighting for my life. The day after nationals, I checked into treatment and since being here, this has been the most difficult journey I’ve ever experienced. I have been Baker Acted 2x and missed out on so many very special moments. I share this, not for pity or attention, but to show people that there is always a light in the darkness. I am still searching for that light, but each day I spend here in treatment I’m getting closer to the light at the end of this very dark tunnel. I cannot thank my support system enough for the love and support during this season of my life. Please reach out for help and support before you reach rock-bottom, always remember you are loved and so worthy of life. My DMS will always be open. #MentalHealthAwareness.
