Today was a really rough day for me, and I spent a bulk of it in the nurses office. But after school, when I was feeling a bit better, I was able to create something beautiful that brought a smile to my face.

This is just a little appreciation post for the amazing people in the world.

I have been having high anxiety all week and last night I slept really horribly. I was struggling to stay awake in my first two classes and ended up falling asleep at the very beginning of Biology, my third class of the day. When my teacher woke me up, I was so embarrassed, but she was amazingly understanding.

After asking me if I was alright (and I told her I hadn’t slept well last night) she asked me if I understood the material we are currently doing. After I said yes, she took me to her prep-room, gave me a blanket, and allowed me to sleep for the rest of the period. She told me she totally understood how horrible it is to sleep bad and wanted to make sure I got some rest.

This is just a little reminder that amazing and kind people are everywhere in our world!! 💚💚 by @juliav.04
