Graduation post! 💜

I have been thinking for a while about what I can say to bookend my time at NYU. The last five years brought me experiences that were unforgettable, formative, eye-opening, joyous, as well as deeply challenging. Emerging at the other end, I am unsure of how to feel about completing this milestone. But one thing I am certain of is my wholehearted gratitude to the people who came into my life during this time, both at school and in my wider NYC network. To everyone who has shown me patience, compassion, grace, and love: thank you!! I hope I can learn how to show myself those same things, too.

Congratulations to all the folks who graduated along with me! Excited to see what’s next!

Finally, to my family: I couldn’t have gotten my BFA without your endless support and generosity. I hope to make you proud! 🥰 by @juliecai

This year was a lot to sum up in one post. But here I am at the end of 2021, lots of laughter and lots of tears later — with so many new friends, an apartment in New York, and a BFA. I only graduated a few weeks ago and I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m going to try being patient with myself in 2022. I’m so grateful for everyone who made my year as colorful and joyful as it was. Hoping everyone is feeling loved! by @juliecai

it means i beat you at a game you don’t know we’re playing”

Thinking about this project, which should’ve opened this weekend. Here’s to all the theaters that are dark now but will be filled with light again someday. #worldtheatreday by @juliecai
