What an honor it has been to develop the brand refresh for the Yountville Sun. Designing a newspaper masthead wasn’t something I ever imagined would become part of my creative journey, but creating a visual language for a publication that informs, celebrates, and connects its community has been incredibly rewarding. I love knowing that this work will become a small part of Yountville’s history and live on for years to come. Scroll through to see the visual language we developed, along with a few of the early masthead concepts explored along the way. by @juliekingstudio

Excited to share that Caroline & Bobby’s Kiawah Island wedding is featured in Charleston Weddings!! Their day drew from the New York restaurants where they fell in love, reimagined for the lowcountry by the amazing @SarahLillieDesigns. It was a truly special day! The evening included an elegant dinner-party on the River Course, with watercolor stationery, calligraphed matchboxes doing double duty as escort cards, and a “Sweet Caroline” moment on the dance floor that Bobby snuck onto the setlist himself. Such an unforgettable night! Thank you @charlestonweddings for the feature. This is the kind of day I love photographing, and it’s so fun to see it celebrated 💕 Planning + Design @sarahlilliedesigns Photographer @lauraannewatson Content Creator @dreamy_content Floral Design @bearded.florist Venue @rivercoursegolf @kiawahresort Entertainment @solfusionband Strings/Instruments @palmettostrings Catering + Bar @rivercoursegolf Stationery @juliekingstudio Custom painted lamps + table numbers @hatchcovedesigns Bar sign folios @rosspressandbindery Rentals @crushbyeventworks @curatedeventscharleston @snyderevents @cheers.chs @emersonjamesrental @adorncharleston Linens @bbjlatavola @reverie_social Cake @flowerchildchs Hair & Makeup @wildivorybeauty Transportation @whipdashchs @lowcountryvalet Gown Designer + Boutique @samuellecouture Second Dress: Her mom’s ❤️ Videographer @palmettoweddingfilms A bride and groom exit their ceremony holding hands at the River Course on Kiawah Island.
