DEEP – For the past few weeks, my research has been focused on real-time 3D fluid interactions, noise, buoyancy, liquid matter, gravity, bursts, collisions, aquatic species, waves, and tides. I was very lucky to return to the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. I spent a long time snorkeling and traveling around various bays and rivers to capture moments, scan Gaussian 3D models, and simply contemplate the awe-inspiring complexity of pure beauty. For the first time, I chose to create these sequences with absolutely no predefined models, relying solely on pixels and data with the goal of staying as true as possible to what I felt there. Of course, many hours were spent (both mentally and in front of the screen) as I got lost in the vast possibilities—so many ways to process the data. But, as they say, “less is more,” and I promised myself I would close this aquatic chapter just a few days after returning. I truly loved these days, as well as this personal work and mindset. Everything I saw and felt in this region left a deep impression. My laptop and I were constantly on 🔥, but everything was done live—most of it was coded in the middle of these amazing locations: Rawaï, Koh Racha Ray, Koh Phi-Phi, Koh Hong, Nong Thale, Ao-Nang, and the Khao Phra-Bang Khram Wildlife Sanctuary. All renders are created using the new T3D surface system in @touchdesigner, developed by @josefpelz, with advice and tips from my friend @b2bk.fr and tutorials by @_mini_uv . Chrysalight - (WIP for some Lanterns mapping project)

Here are the first research works that I could present as the early beginnings of a project that I prefer to keep secret for now.

We wanted to explore, together with a special collaborator, a world inspired by lanterns and chrysalis cocoons — cocoons of infinite delicacy that evolve and grow, eventually becoming a complete and organic universe, leading to the emergence of a butterfly.

Soft Matter, Living Forms

I’m excited to share my work in progress around generative arts and real-time control, powered by tools that work incredibly well together — MediaPipe of @blankensmithing , @_mini_uv ´s amazing POPx flow solver, and T3D extension by @josefpelz . Always made in the incredible software @touchdesigner 🤍

Here, I’m exploring textures inspired by wireframes, liquids, and organic flows — elements that allow me to dissolve fabrics and textiles, transforming them into something fluid, digital, and elegantly alive.

I dream of becoming even more precise, and of creating collaborative work with the worlds of fashion and couture — or of projecting these textures onto bodies yet to be reimagined…

A storm can also create.

This piece imagines a whirlwind of digital petals, endlessly colliding, merging and dispersing. Like pollen carried by the wind, chaos becomes the silent language of life. Every encounter is a possibility. Every collision is a new beginning.

Nature has always relied on movement, diversity and uncertainty to survive. Mixing is not a flaw, it is evolution. Curiosity is not a luxury, it is the instinct that keeps every living system alive.

Today, those same forces remind us of another reality. As our climate shifts, the beauty of natural dynamics increasingly shares its stage with devastating extremes. The storms that once nurtured ecosystems now too often leave behind destruction. They are a reminder that the future of life depends on the choices we make today.

May we never stop exploring, creating, questioning and connecting—because preserving curiosity is also a way of preserving the Earth that welcomes us.

Our Bay

I return to a piece that mesmerized me last year, inspired by the seas of Southern Thailand — now reimagined through @josefpelz new T3D 1.4 and the Flow tool of @_mini_uv , and deeply shaped by the moments I experienced and shared around the Arcachon Bay and the Dune of Pilat in France.

A neo-realistic flow where digital matter collides with memory, landscapes, and light.

As always, made in realtime with @touchdesigner engine only.

Aldéhyde 3.2 was born from a simple idea:
to make perfume dance.

Not the bottle.
Not the expected image.
Not the surface around it.

The perfume itself.

What it becomes when it meets a body.
When it moves through the air.
When it leaves a presence behind.

A bluish, marine, grey-green, coral, almost metallic matter.
A cold breath.
An invisible aura made visible through movement.

Aldéhyde 3.2 gives form to what usually escapes the eye.

A simple representation of my little dreamlike world, the connections that shape it, and the honor I have to be surrounded by the best.

Here, I was able to stack incredible real-time graphic tools in @touchdesigner, starting with the exclusive new DOF by @b2bk.fr and its multi-camera setup, along with @_mini_uv ’s POPX and @josefpelz T3D.

The possibilities keep expanding every day, and I’m getting more and more hooked…

Where Foam Becomes Code

I had left aside for far too long those textures close to textiles, those pure generative digital noises. But after reliving suspended moments by the ocean over the past few days in the Arcachon Bay (France) and its surroundings, I felt the urge to capture that raw force again — that intensity that had already captivated me so deeply about more than ten years ago.

So I went back to reworking the constraints of advection movements — their rebounds, the fibers gathering and sometimes opposing each other — forming a powerful mass that feels like complex, cyclical tides, the sound of foam, where no pattern ever truly repeats itself.

All of this is still only possible in real time using POP operators in @touchdesigner and the FLOW tool by @_mini_uv (along with the POPX series, which I highly recommend). It’s a tool I love to explore and make my own — offering endless possibilities where I can lose myself for hours, just as I did, silently, in front of those mesmerizing landscapes.

Thank you for creating such wonderful and inexhaustible tools. I just enjoy to practice again and again 🌊🤍…

Submerged in the Sky

The past few days have been dedicated to capturing dancers in motion — processing their coordinates, analyzing movement, exploring mechanics, the limits of the body, rhythm, and breath.

I pushed deep into my own limits — technically and creatively — to arrive at an abstract figure that echoes both Neo-Impressionism and its sense of dissolution. Blended textures, a canvas that feels both celestial and underwater, a restrained emotion lingering beneath the surface.

In times of conflict, creating feels essential. A way to look away from threatening skies I’m fortunate not to face directly. My thoughts are with the innocent lives and the collateral damage of forces beyond control.

I’ll keep shaping this material, driven by the real-time engine of @touchdesigner — something I can no longer separate from. The joy of performing live and generating visuals like this is unmatched.

Built with the incredible tools and talent of @_mini_uv (POPX) and @josefpelz (T3D), and with the valuable guidance of my friend @b2bk.fr .

Looking forward to pushing this further and delivering the final work to Candice and @cadencecapture — with gratitude to the University of Bordeaux (Charline Montant) for their precious data and @mikimo_studio (Thomas Cerigny) also for helping me with the Rig part.

Cnidaria Flow

A grid as a starting point.
A quiet architecture of proportions.

Then the system begins to bend.
Lines stretch, twist, and drift through digital currents.

Structure turns into movement.
Computation becomes matter.

Slowly, shapes emerge —
echoes of jellyfish,
fragments of an imaginary aquatic life.

Between algorithm and organism,
a fluid choreography appears.

Generated in real time.
Always shifting.
Never the same twice.

This work was made possible thanks to tools and ideas shared by an inspiring community.

The Thread as Architecture

Some beings rely on thread as their only architecture.
Silk stretched to sense the world,
the cocoon to isolate, protect, and transform.

This principle becomes material.
A dense, layered weave
where texture carries function.

The flow draws, repeats, thickens.
Curves accumulate in real time,
generating vibrating surfaces,
increasingly shaped by the precision of current technologies.

Here, design does not imitate the living —
it extends its process.

A sensitive structure,
computed, continuous,
conceived to contain rather than to display.
