The @petit_faucheux season opening night again with the @ayumitanaka_piano trio. These three masterfully reminded us that Scandinavia is indisputably one of the strongholds of the global jazz scene. Wow !
Ayumi Tanaka: piano
Thomas Morgan : bass

« Kill’em and leave » used to say James Brown.
That’s exactly what @thedwarves did last month at @lebateauivretours.
A 30’ nervous set which left the audience happy.
Thanks 🙏🏻 !

I have always been a huge fan of classic trio (piano, bass and drums). This past month, the @petit_faucheux spoiled me. After the fabulous @the.necks late April, we had the luck to applaud the Dutch trio @tinmenandthetelephone. @tony_roe__ (piano), @patcleaver (bass) and @jamespete (drums) offered a stunning show with couple of solid punches (the « counting » track). Bravo !

Now, the real question, did Jamie make it to Amsterdam before 9am?

PS : impossible to find a tm&t track on Instagram, for some reason this old hip-hop track came to my mind for this post. Sorry. taken in Petit faucheux by @julienjonchere

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to hear @geraldclayton and John Scofield conversing on stage. These two giants offered a moving moment to a subjugated audience. Thanks to them and @petit_faucheux . taken in Espace Malraux by @julienjonchere
