Roe v Wade - standing with our American sisters.
This will not stop abortions, only safe abortions. It will put womens lives at risk.
When womens rights come under threat, in Northern Ireland or across the Atlantic, we must be loud and clear so our Pro Choice voices can be heard.
The hardest decision a women has to make….isn’t yours!

Domestic violence training offered to all hairstylists to raise awareness, supporting women experiencing domestic and sexual violence right now. Whatever form violence comes in, rape, relationships based on psychological or financial control. 1 in3 women and 1 in 30 men experience rape or serious sexual violence. 1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.
2 women a week are killed by a current or former partner.

I’m seeing lots of posts from salons and stylists encouraging clients to wait for their stylist and not attempt home hairdressing. As much as this is great advise, the use of emotional reasons isn’t!...”because my stylist got me through some tough times” “because our relationship has lasted longer than my marriage” 😱 As stylists we support our clients, so why would we try to make them feel bad / guilty about attempting lockdown hairdressing!?! Let’s support them, show them our loyalty and give them as many tips and advise to see them through this time. Let’s demonstrate we truly value and support our clients. This isn’t going to be their desired look, just a temporary measure. Be confident in the knowledge of your worth and that clients will return to you. Colour correction. Lots of considerations with this one, over processed bleach stripes, black patches and grey coverage. After many hours we had the desired result, a super blended spiced melt. 🙅‍♀️ Life is so subtle sometimes that you barely notice yourself walking through the doors you once prayed would open.
